I am forever grateful for Embrace Pet Insurance! By far one of the best decisions I've ever made when it comes to my best friends health. My Sadie was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy last April and has needed a lot of care. Embrace has made it possible for me to not only give her the best care possible, it has significantly helped ease the financial stress that comes along with such a difficult diagnosis. Our life has changed tremendously, it's been rough, but She is worth it! Knowing Embrace has our back has been the greatest blessing and has allowed me to focus on Sadie's health and that is priceless! I am a customer for life!

Horrible claims coverage experience…
Purchased pet insurance with Figo on March 8th 2022 after speaking with a representative and was assured ease of use and reimbursement with non pre-existing conditions. Note that we already had pet insurance and never would have switched if we were given grace period policies. Our pet was in excellent health with regular vet visits (all documented). Six months later we took our pet to the vet for an immediate visit due to limping. Surgery was administered shortly after (again all documented). The appt was on Sept 14th, which falls after the grace period (Sept 9th) yet the insurance company is claiming that this is a pre-existing condition, which it is NOT. I have made two appeals with the insurance company and both were denied. You are not given more than two appeal attempts (how convenient for Figo). The vet also wrote two letters summarizing the events and that it was not a pre-existing condition. I have also submitted a claim & complaint with my state division of insurance. It seems Figo will do just about anything to deny claims on the basis that they are all pre-existing. Pay the extra $20 for a better insurance company that will actually take care of your pet in need and not leave you out to dry with financial burden.

Excellent customer support
I chose this score because I recently had an appointment with my cat who had ingested foreign materials and the cost of just X-rays and bloodwork made my face drop. I am a single mother on a budget. When I called Trupanion they were eager to help in anyway and weâre always reassuring me that everything will be alright. My vet was also very impressed into how fast Trupanion operates and had everything figured out with an hour.
