I can always rely on my pet insurance…
I can always rely on my pet insurance plan and not hold back bringing my pets to the vet from worrying about costs. I can confidently bring them in knowing I won't have to pay too much out of pocket after the fact.

Money hustler
When talking to agent. She asked if both my dogs had been examined in the last year. I said no. One of them had been neutered the other not. She ignored me and signed them up anyway. Being neutered is not a physical exam. Then after they collected my money, they sent me an email saying they could not get service unless they had been fully examined. She should have been honest. That was a hustle. Refund my money please.

Healthy Paws allows us to get our dog the care he needs
Healthy Paws has excellent coverage for non-routine care and processes claims with astonishing speed. They are clear up-front that they don't cover routine care or exam fees, even if the exam is for a non-routine problem, but they do cover a wide range of rehab in addition to surgery, as well as any emergency expenses. Our premium started at just over $40 and has risen to just over $120 in five years, but I still consider this a good value for the peace of mind and breadth of coverage. However, our dog did just turn 7, and it appears the policy will drop to 70% coverage with an increase to a $500 deductible when we hit a new policy year. I know there is currently a lawsuit pending. If these changes are made alongside a premium increase, my 5-star rating will drop.

Best care possible
The vet will normally give me two options, one that’s most cost-effective and one that is the best. I always get to pick the best care, no matter the price! My claims are always processed fast and my reimbursements as well. I couldn’t be more pleased.

After 8 years of loyalty they raised the prices and when I finally used the insurance for an emergency, they cancel my policy. Worst pet insurance company.
