poor service, limited coverage
Nearly all of my claims have been denied for reasons that were not made available or clear at the time of purchasing my plan. I have received no response to my emails to customer service. The only positive thing I can say is that the app is well developed and the 24/7 vets available on the app are very helpful.

System could not Process claim.
System was not able to process claim and provided wrong email address to FIGO customer support. First claim went through without a hitch.

Probably a big mistake?
I adopted a new rescue in October 2022. We didn't make any claims until the following year. It's been about two months since the first claim, minor ear irritation and it still hasn't been paid. I received an email saying that the invoice isn't enough. It needs to be itemized and show that we paid (which it does). We've submitted about 8 claims now, and NOT one has even been processed yet. I'm amazed there are reviewers on here saying that they've had their claim turned around in a few days. I have a different insurance for my other dogs and we've never had a claim denied and the money is in my account in a few days. It's starting to feel like someone is just going through and marking "needs me info" when it's the same format I submit to my other insurance. I've even called in after submitting something and asked if that info is good enough. Got a "yes" two weeks ago, and the claim still isn't processed. I can't even tell you if they are good about paying claims because they are just sitting there or asking more info when they have it all. I seriously regret getting pets best. Our dog just had a $20,000 bill between 3 surgeries at 2 different hospitals and 2 weeks in ICU. Now it's going to be a pre-existing condition if we leave. But if they end up denying it, (if it ever gets processed) I might as well leave anyway. Stay away.

I have multiple Dogs and I am very pleased with AKC pet insurance
I have multiple Dogs, Dachshunds insured by AKC one had multiple back surgeries and another was hospitalized. AKC reimbursed me for the back surgeries for one and reimbursed me for the hospitalization for the other. When buying insurance please pay attention to the additional riders; you may need to purchase more than one. Overall a great experience.

Very easy to submit claims and very quick reviews. My claim was reviewed and approved within 72 hours of submission. Very pleased with this insurance so far.

Hoped we didn't need
Got a kitty hoping we'd barely ever have to use the insurance. By the stars, it was worth it when she got diagnosed with a rare disease that would have cost thousands. Thankfully, it was covered and paid in a fair amount of time for an insurance claim. So grateful for this
