Majority of Emergency Vet cost was covered
When my cat, Rourke, had to stay at the emergency vet for three days, I knew the only thing I needed to worry about was her. The cost of the services wasn't a factor in the care of my cat because I knew the bulk of them would be covered by MetLife. After I submitted my claim, it was less than a week to receive reimbursement from them. And while I was in the EV waiting room, I actually recommended MetLife to two other people who hadn't purchased pet insurance to cover any future emergencies.

This process was very easily accessed with the app. It is easy to understand what is needed. I already had a policy for my Ambry. The claims and refund process is very easy to submit and the reply and payment is quick.

Please don't waste your time.
I was forced to go with the company after they bought out PC insurance. I have been with them for 11 years and 3 animals. They recently raised my price over $150 dollars per month/per pet. The reason? because I was paying a low amount! They stated I could change my policy but nothin pre-existing would be covered. How they consider anything pre-existing, I don't know as THEY'RE my insurance provider. I refuse to give another greedy company money. So disappointed in the money hungry practices.

On going treatments
My dog was diagnosed 1 year ago with MUO. She goes for treatments 1x a month. I was never denied for treatments or tests. They are a caring company. I recommend whenever I am asked.
