Pleasantly Surprised
I got Trupanion when my cat was adopted as a 6 week old rescue kitten. I've only had to use it twice but both times, the claims process was easy and fast. My cat is 12 now and I expected to meet a lot of resistance when filing this most recent claim but just as the first time, the claim was processed quickly and the reimbursement was fair. I encourage all of my friends with pets to get them insured early and I found that Trupanion was the best value. In the long run, the peace of mind in itself is worth the monthly cost.

We took our Chihuahua (Poco) in for a routine teeth cleaning. During the initial testing, the doctor found some blood in his urine. The doctor investigated and found he had numerous stone like deposits in his bladder. They operated on him and removed all the he is his old self again. We have had our insurance through Fetch (formerly PetPlan) for approximately five years. I filed our first claim and Fetch settled it within the week. Outstanding service! I have recommended Fetch to all our friends and neighbors.

Never reimbursed for medical bills…
Never reimbursed for medical bills regarding our dog....Vet states copies sent to FIGO. FIGO states never received. Vet states copies sent to FIGO. FIGO states never received. This has been a year+ ago. To date, no reimbursement ever received..

Very fast and easy to get money back. Being that I had never heard of this company before, I was a little skeptical, but I am impressed by how fast and easy it was to both submit a claim and get money back. A very friendly customer service agent reached out to me right away, as there was some info missing from my claim, and I received money back within a few days.
