All do NOT use MetLife. We signed our dog up for MetLife after a few months of her being off insurance. We took her for a routine checkup and they found an issue with my pets hips. Insurance said it was pre existing. How would we know it's pre existing? Cancer is Pre existing along with anything else. Don't waste your time and money with this company. Company also owes me money from 4 months ago that they never caught and I have yet to receive it.

AS OF NOW - NEW CUSTOMER
As of now, I can only give a review on the pricing of my pet's insurance plan. I was able to pick coverage plan, unlimited yearly amount, deductible ($100/year), and reimbursement amount (90%), for a total cost of $122/month. I spent time shopping around and what I liked most about Spot was the options that I could pick. Other insurance companies didn't come CLOSE. My fur baby just turned one in April and since she has no pre-existing conditions, I feel that this is the best policy for her life span. The other rating that I can give for now, is how easy it was to sign her up on their website and how easy the website is to use. I have limited technical knowledge so this too was a bonus. I will gladly post another review when I admit any bills in the future.

Great insurance and our Vet clinic is the best-of-the-best. Pets Best is very clear about what they will cover, what they won't cover and what they will partially cover. The claim process is quite easy. Suffice it to say we are very pleased with our Veterinarian AND our pet medical insurance. Our small cat has better medical and dental insurance than our dental insurance.

I loved the online experience of getting Pet Insurance for each one of my furry family members- just wish we could have gotten preventive insurance at sign up but it said unavailable? Once I got insurance for each one it said preventive insurance would be available next year at renewal? Seemed odd ? I’m happy to have insurance for them all now and loved how easy the somewhat customizable plans are to choose from.

Excellent - Healthy Paws App, Claim Process, Customer Service
My golden doodle (2.5 years old) recently faced a serious health concern that had both long term health as well as immediate financial impact. In the midst of these stressful life events, it was extremely simple to navigate the Healthy Paws app to submit claims. I remember early on, enrolling into the product was super streamlined as well. I think the Healthy Paws team has figured out the optimal balance of direct customer interaction (via emails etc ) vs self serve technology that is simple to use. I have been very impressed with the claim processing workflow that gives the customer a clear sense of processing times, explanations for coverage etc. Very happy with the Healthy Paws team and looking forward to a long continuing relationship.
