Farmers Insurance Agent - Pets Best Review
I have been very dissatisfied with Pets Best Pet Health Insurance Co. Their Customer Service is sorley lacking. Their Claims Dept. is a joke! Everyone, be aware, upfront, Twelve months veterinarian history is required with every Claim! Even if you have not had the pet for twelve months, does not matter. Doing business in a fair and transparant way should be provided. Not with this company. This is critical criteria, and should be stated in the quoting information, BEFORE someone pays for a policy. I have two Claims, for two pets that needed similar surgery. Coco's Claim was finally paid out... Max's Claim has been repeatedly denied, stating the "not a covered procedure", even though Pets Best paid out Coco's Claim for very similar surgery!! A mass had to be removed from Coco's hip, and a mass had to be removed from Max's side. How can one be covered and not the other? I would be very cautious in my recommendation!!
Spine Surgery Due to Disc Pressing on Back Nerve
Our Beagle had spinal surgery on 5/2/2023 due to her discs pressing up against the nerve causing her tremendous pain. The vet recommended she be put down due to her extreme pain (8 years old) if after the MRI was completed (where the problem could be determined) if it couldn't be corrected. Fortunately, surgery was an option and affording it was possible due to my having pet insurance with Healthy Paws. They reimbursed my claim within one week of surgery through Direct Deposit. When given the choice of being able to save our dog through surgery vs. having to put her down due to cost, that would have been difficult to handle. She is coming along great and it makes me grateful to see her and spend time with her each day so she can live the rest of her normal life comfortably and happily. Thank you!

Excellent experience with Healthy Paws
We selected Healthy Paws because they are highly recommended and we haven’t been disappointed. The app makes submitting claims super easy and claim approval/payment is very prompt (days not months). They are extremely responsive and even checked to see how our dog was recovering from his surgery. Can’t say enough good about them.
