My Idgy was sick and had a cough
My Idgy was sick and had a cough. We all know our pets they are our babies. I told my husband that if she coughed one more time I was going to take her to the emergency vet. When I got to the emergency vet, they acted like there was nothing wrong with her. I insisted on that there was something wrong. On the outside everything seemed to be perfect to the vet. But I insisted that there was something wrong. I think the vet wanted to stick an x-ray up my butt. I told her to do the x-ray and short time later she came back and said I owe you a severe apology. My girl had the beginning of pneumonia. I went to pay the bill and the bill was $2200. That’s when I said to the emergency vet I needed receipts to send to the insurance company. They asked me what insurance company it was. I told them that it was Trupanion The receptionist handed me my credit card back and said to go out and wait she was going to run it through the insurance directly. My baby was contagious so we had to wait in the truck. When I came back, I only had to pay 20% of the total bill. I just about fell down. Over the next couple of months she had to have more treatments and so did my other dog Trupanion paid 80% of all the bills. I recommend them to everyone I met that has pets. I have had other insurance companies and had to fight to get a bill paid or they just didn’t pay it at all. It was very easy with Trupanion. This is why I’ve kept them and recommend them to everyone.

Very simple sign up process
Very simple sign up process. The reviews on Reddit and from my vet are why I chose Trupanion. Very good customer service. They’ve sent me gifts and a $25 Amazon gift card for signing my Mom’s kitten up as well. No complaints so far :)

Overall review from a long time customer
We've been a customer of ASPCA for several years. Overall, the reimbursement is very minimal or nothing at all. I've raised my concern in several occasion but no one seems to care, thus I asked not to renew my pets insurance, however no one listened. My auto pay was cancelled from your end when my other furry dog passed on. His account was deactivated but at the same time my auto pay was deleted. And you marked my account past due but no one cared to make a courtesy call.

Thanks to Trupanion, Libby is still with us.
We don't know if we could have afforded Libby's $10,000 vet bill. She had a tumor on her liver that had burst. We thought we were going to loose her.
