I haven't had to use the insurance yet
I haven't had to use the insurance yet, so I will be able to give a better review after using it. However, I did research many different companies and felt this will suit my puppy's needs should we need it.

Very easy to enroll. I had trupanion with my prior fur baby and they gave us excellent service. We would put the claim in and we received the 90% that was covered with in 4 to 5 days.

If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. My Dog was lethargic, not eating and only pooped a one inch black something so the vet wanted to do an X-ray to check for an obstruction as my dog is 2 and a lab mix so you know Labs and it was denied because she had SOFT STOOLS once before the policy!!!! So, they said SOFT STOOLS a G.I. issue is the same as what I just put? A PRE-existing condition? How Many of your pets have had that? Do NOT PAY YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THEM! If you dog had an ear issue once for the next 10-15 years anything with the ears, NOT COVERED! They make 29% on our premiums and the more they deny the more their owners who the operators REFUSE to give you any corporate information but, you can talk to a manager in 3-5 days as that is how many complaints they get on a weekend. Total Revrnue LY was 520 Million so they made 150 Million pre-expenses and they can’t pay 85% of An X-Ray to check for an obstruction? I’m paralyzed and had dogs for almost 50 years now. River is a new Rescue so, I took her in for checkups pre-insurance and I have time as I’m disabled and I got denied for being a loving pet owner. Shame on them…Update: they actually just reported a loss? Must be tied up in Upper Management salary costs then as what expenses do they have as they don’t produce a tangible product? Go to Consumer Reports or Forbes and you’ll see where this company is ranked. The only reason I did is a neighbor had their YOUNG small dog get a condition that slipped past them somehow and was covered. Otherwise, do your research. Sad it’s all about $$$$ to Trupanion and not backing their words. THEY LOVE MONEY not our pets. Again, anything that’s us even remotely related to what your dog had pre policy will be DENIED and they’ll find a way to relate them. Ex. Your dog had SOFT STOOLS and then eats a toy and they’ll deny as both have to do with the G.I. Tract. Not kidding.. Interesting a stock worth in the $120’s 15 months ago is now opening up tomorrow at $21/share. I wonder why given the Market is up during that same time. Trupanion explain to me what preexisting condition is a soft stool? I want my claim covered immediately. Or I will tell THE TRUTH to every review site and pet owner I know. Soft Stools vs. NO STOOLS and they say they are related? Again, I’m livid!!!
