Because Jackie was very efficient and quick getting info I needed.. I had used Trupanion in the past. This time I bought 2 rescue dogs and they came with 6 week coverage from another company after speaking with Jackie and having Trupanion in the past, I knew my dogs would be best looked after by Trupanion so without hesitation I decided to go back to Trupanion knowing I would have another 30 day wait for illness coverage was worth it .. knowing Trupanionâs service from the past, I would be the best.. coverage for my new puppy

Embrace not getting claims processed.
So far very unhappy. They appear to regularly not get the paperwork that is sent to them so they don't process claims. They have an upload portal for documents, that they never check. Hold times on the phone are 30+ minutes. So far it has been a nightmare. I would have expected better from someone USAA was promoting, but I guess competence is hard to come by. I guess I should have done more research and gone with a different company. I will be fixing that mistake.

My only complaint is the length of time it takes to get money for a claim. It says the average time is now 26 days. I’m pleased so far with the reimbursement amounts. So far so good.

One of the worst companies for…
One of the worst companies for processing claims. I submit my invoices with detailed listing of vaccines provided, date of service, and signature from the veterinarian. I provide detailed Amazon receipts for dental cleaning solution for my pets covered under their wellness plan. Yet, every-time I get the run around that they need to see when the item was shipped from Amazon, or that the receipt for the vaccination does not show a card was processed. How would the vet let me leave without charging me. Secondly the date of service, cost, and vaccine given with the vet signature was provided. A complete waste of time for them to try to not process claims!
