Not sure how they’ve got a 4 star with…
Not sure how they’ve got a 4 star with my first claim experience being nothing but problems. 3 weeks to review instead of 3 to 5 days and then denied as preexisting. My dog had a cloudy eye which is preexisting and understandably not covered. Never expected it to be but to tell me that my claim to repair my dogs third eyelid from a cat swatting her is not covered because she had previous cloudy eye. This alone tells me they plan to take my 100 a month and not cover anything. I’ll be cancelling after I speak with the supervisor about my claim of $560 that should be covered and they owe me since I’ve paid for coverage. I’ll update this review after I speak with the supervisor today - providing he/she calls.

Great coverage for my older dog and my young pup
Our family typically has three dogs. We're down to two right now, but I have learned over the years to ALWAYS have pet insurance. Recently we switched from another company (H.P.) to "Pets Best." I was concerned to switch because one of our dogs was 10 years old while the other was 1 year old and I was worried the cost would be exhorbitant for the older dog. But it wasn't, so we did switch. We've had this policy for about a year now, but never needed to submit anything. Well this month we finally had to submit a claim on our older dog. Our older Australian Shep (now 11) had to have his gallbladder removed. That is not a cheap surgery, but we would have done it even if we didn't have insurance. This particular dog is a therapy dog at assisted living facilities, so he is an important part of our local community. We did what it took to get him better. And get better he did! He is thriving now. So I finally submitted the claims that we had racked up and crossed my fingers to see if they would get paid. And to my utter astonishment, they DID!! We will get back about 80% of the monies we put in. All I can say is that I'm telling ALLLLLLL of my friends about Pets Best. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Marie, Dave, Jack and Teddy

So Grateful I Have Them!
My adopted pitbull mix was rescued from the worst conditions. I chose Healthy Paws hoping I would not have to use it. Unfortunately my pup has had several health issues from slip disk requiring surgery, splenectomy and cancer surgery. They have saved me thousands of dollars !! Having Healthy Paws has allowed me to do whatever has been needed for my beloved pibble to heal . If it weren't for them I don't know what I would have done. I am so grateful to them !! They have fast claim reimbursement with no issues usually within a few days. So glad I made the decision to go with Healthy Paws !
