Trupanion is a lifesaver, literally.
I couldn't be more pleased with how incredible and supportive Trupanion has been through my dog Maeve's several, big, unexpected health crises. Trupanion has covered the majority of all her emergency vet fees and operations we never expected to have to deal with, and it has been a huge comfort to know we could make health decisions without having to worry mainly about cost. I don't know what I would have done without Trupanion. While knowing there will be vet costs and unexpected expenses when you get a dog, nobody can predict exactly what that will look like. For Maeve, it has meant several big, unrelated health events during her lifetime (even though I've had several dogs before her that basically sailed through life with no health issues,) and having Trupanion insurance has been a life saver, literally. Maeve could be the poster child for why it's so important to have pet insurance. Trupanion has stepped up, without questions, for several unexpected emergency events, and I am so grateful I chose Trupanion. I can't recommend Trupanion enough, and I recommend it to all my dog training, and behavior clients.

Slow process
I thought it took an awfully long time to process my claim that I knew would not be paid because I havenât met the deductible yet. That makes me wonder how long it would for a claim for a major accident or illness!
