Healthy Paws saved my dogs life...
My dog started having trouble breathing so we took her to our local pet ER. After tests, xrays, and an ultraound, they diagnosed her with pyothorax (fluid in her chest cavity). We transferred her to another vet that could do a CT scan then her surgery. After surgery, she was in the ICU for 10 days with a chest tube then another 2 days after the tube was removed, a total of 12 days. The total discharge bill was $20k plus a $5k ER bill. The plan we have has a $500 yearly deductible then 90% plan paid/10% customer paid. Our total out of pocket ended up being around $3k out of the $25k total bill. They saved her life because there was no way we would’ve been able to afford it without knowing we’d be reimbursed. And they made the reimbursement process so easy. They called the vet and got the confirmation they needed and I got a direct deposit a few days later. Thank you so much Healthy Paws!
Great experience and company
What made my experience great is how easy it is to navigate the Pets Best Health Insurance site. Pets Best was my first pet insurance experience, and quotes were affordable and easy to acquire. Payment options are also available making getting insurance quick and simple. This company makes submitting and receiving claims easy. Submitting a claim requires answering just a few questions, and there are a few options for receiving payment. In addition, claims are put towards your deductible. Customers are also given email updates when claims have been received, in process, and completed. Lastly, payment is received in a timely manner. However, the best reason to purchase insurance with Pets Best is peace of mind. After sixteen years, we lost our beloved Bella to congestive heart failure. Losing a pet is the most devastating experience, but having insurance allowed us the peace of mind to make the best health care decisions for her knowing we would be covered regardless of the cost. In closing, I could not see my life without the joy of a dog. When we are ready to add another member to our family, the first thing I will be doing is getting pet insurance from Pets Best. They are simply "the best."

A very simple claim was denied for my…
A very simple claim was denied for my dog, and I had to jump through hoops to appeal the ridiculous decision. My vet wrote the requested appeal letter, but it took him unnecessary time to correct an obviously bad call on behalf of Embrace. Ultimately Embrace acknowledged the claim was valid, but the whole situation seemed designed to keep money in their pockets so they didn’t have to pay. I am plan to cancel this policy, it is more trouble than it is worth.

Best Pet Insurance
I have had Trupanion for years and they have never disappointed me. I also have a purebred Bengal cat that gets amazing care because of Trupanion. Their customer service is top notch. They take the time to explain any questions and they take excellent care of my babies by helping me be able to pay my Vet bills.
