Healthy Paws is an amazing company! Not only are the rates affordable but it is so easy to file claims. They are so responsive and fast to review your claim. As a company they really show that they care about your pets.

I had not made a claim in 8 years and my cat had a very serious issue. Luckily I was able to provide cost estimates and partial invoices to notify Trupanion of my cat’s health crisis and get pre approval for treatment, like the MRI. The MRI information allowed me to make better decisions about her care. I received quick response with precise details on coverage. The customer service people provided kind support and helpful information . My cat on meds recovered quite a bit due to reducing the swelling in her brain and waits for her tumor surgery. I believe it is worth the monthly fee to have this type of resource when you need it. Even if I never made a claim, having the insurance might help fellow insured pets get the serious care they need. I bought it when I adopted them at 7 months old and the peace of mind is worth it.

I had ordered two platinum policies for two dogs. Muffin came in gold. Got on the phone to change Muffin to platinum and I was told I had to cancel out the policy and start over again. I was being assisted by someone and there was a hang up. No one called me back. Not good customer service
