Highly recommend!!
This is the only pet insurance I have had, but my experience with them has been wonderful! I did a lot of research before deciding on Embrace and a big reason I decided to go with them is because I saw many reviews saying that they generally reimbursed well. As with most of you reading this, I did not want to pay a pet insurance for months only to find out that when the time came, there were a bunch of loopholes for them to avoid reimbursement. I started with them at the end of 2021 and was so glad I did because a few months later one of my dogs began having a lot of health issues. The hospital bill ran into the thousands and Embrace covered almost all of it. They review claims quickly and have a quick turnaround for reimbursement. They also have great customer service and respond quickly if you have any follow up questions. Only thing to keep in mind is that you do have to pay out of pocket first and then will receive the reimbursement either through a check in the mail or direct deposit. Regarding some pre-existing conditions, some of them (for example periodontal disease or anal sac impaction) expire once your pet receives treatment for it (e.g., dental cleaning, anal gland expression) so even if they initially did not cover a claim for this reason, it became eligible for reimbursement after the first time they receive treatment for it. I have been extremely happy with this insurance and I strongly recommend it for you and your pups :)

The process was easy and the information was well presented as to what I was looking for in Pet Ins. as I have had another insurance company and it didn't cover as much and cost continually increased.

I embrace this Pet Insurance
Very easy to make a claim and they cover what they say they'll cover. No guess work or deep research needed.

Underhanded
I canceled my policy for my cat's pet insurance (another company) in 2017. Yet, Fetch (whom I had never heard of) is still billing me, EVEN THOUGH THE CARD THEY ARE USING EXPIRED IN 2020!! When I queried it with my CC, Fetch said I had not properly canceled! I defy anyone to find a place to cancel on their current website to cancel. There are better pet insurers out there. Be forewarned!

Terrible claims service dept
I had Fetch for 2 years. I submitted my first simple claim and they kept asking for medical records but my dog was never seen by a vet except for the claim I submitted. I called and emailed several times and got no where!!!! Cancelled my policy also after referring my friends to Fetch I told them to use some other company!!!

Not the Best
We’ve been members since 2010 and cover three of our cats. We haven’t had to use the policies much - maybe three or four times. This past time they denied all of the diagnostic testing because it wasn’t associated with illness or symptoms. I’m annoyed because they do not make that clear on their webpage. It just says that ‘diagnostic testing’ is covered. It makes no mention of it needing to be relating to disease or symptoms. It’s probably buried in the policy somewhere and that’s on me, but I feel like they should state that clearly on the promotional piece of their website. We are a foster home for unwanted cats and kittens and get a lot of cats with a lot of unknowns. Obviously they are quarantined when they first come into care with us, and our resident cats are vaccinated against everything under the sun; however, testing for FIV and FeLV are important and we do it yearly. If Trupanion doesn’t cover it, fine, but I think they need to be more transparent on their list of ‘covered’ items on the main page of their site. An asterisk with a note would go a long way. Their claims process is also complicated compared to my other pet insurance company. Healthy Paws’ claim process is soooo simple, my cats could probably submit their claims themselves. The rest of my cats are covered with Healthy Paws. Unfortunately I can’t switch the other cats from Trupanion to Healthy Paws because of preexisting conditions, but I would if I could. Any future pets will be covered by Healthy Paws - Trupanion just isn’t that great.

Healthy Paws is THE BEST
We have three amazing dogs who have, unfortunately, had some bad luck - including a life-threatening GDV emergency surgery. We have never, ever not been able to treat because Healthy Paws has our backs, always. They have not only ALWAYS covered what they should, but have treated me with care and compassion during times of high stress. They're submission process is easy, they pay back quickly, and most importantly, they allow pet parents to ensure they're animals are safe. We should never have to say know or guess whether to treat. Because of Healthy Paws, we've been able to keep our animals healthy and ourselves financially protected. ALWAYS GET INSURANCE...and get Healthy Paws.
