Not super happy
Our insurance recently renewed and increased $300 without any reasoning given or phone call from Figo. In the years that we have had the insurance, they haven't covered much and decline most of our claims. I get the insurance going up YOY due to the dogs age but $300 seems ridiculous especially given they don't really cover anything and deny our claims. They tried to do the same thing last year and I called and sat on the phone with them for two hours to finally get it down to $20 more vs. $300. So, looks like I have another long phone call in my future. Will be investigating other plans as well.

I have had Healthy Paws for four plus years and they have never disappointed me! My 4 year old dog recently required TPLO surgery and they provided direct pay to the surgeon, without this financial support and option, this surgery would not have been possible! They changed my dogs quality of life.

Saved Me and my pups.
I would not have been able to retire when I planned were it not for Trupanion. I have 2 mini dachshunds and before they were 6 years old Trupanion paid for 4 back surgeries, over $20,000 plus years of pain meds and many other minor ailments. Now one has Cushings and Trupanion has been in step covering her treatment. I tell new pet owners to get Pet Insurance--specifically Trupanion. If you never need it your the LUCKIEST person ever. But when the vet says your pup needs treatment you don't need to worry about how you're going to pay for it. It's the best thing I've ever done for my pets.

Self acclaimed pet insurance critic
I am a die hard fan of another company that unfortunately wouldn’t quote my girl due to her birth defects. I’ve also had a horrendous experience with a different company. I am very grateful Fetch gave us the opportunity to insure her. I have had a good experience overall, save two factors. The turnaround time is a little longer than I’m used to and if you file a claim, you can no longer change coverage. At the time, our income was more limited and I chose a higher deductible and 80% reimbursement. We filed one claim and due to an improvement in our financial situation, I wanted to raise the reimbursement percentage and lower the deductible, understanding the premium would increase. Because I had filed one claim, I can no longer change coverage.
