Not always covered
I have had this pet insurance for 10 years and never had an issue with claims. My dog was covered for an injury 9 years ago and now she suffered a more extensive injury which was an accident but based on the initial injury it is deemed this is an illness in the breed of dog that I have. An illness should be just that, an illness. Not an injury that caused future weakening of her knee. make sure and be clear when you sign up for pet insurance. 10 years later and a lot of premiums paid my claim was denied.

Don’t waste your money or time
Sent this email a while back. I still have yet to hear from them. They find every way possible to get out of coverage. You appear to justify your denial of coverage based on Zoey not receiving Hydrotherapy from a “provider that meets the qualifications outlined for coverage of treatments by a non-veterinarian listed in the Recovery and Complimentary Care Rider.” The Rider requires that treatment be: 1. Recommended by a veterinarian, and 2. Provided by either, a. a veterinarian or under direct supervision of a veterinarian, or b. a qualified professional (e.g., a registered and credentialed member of the Canine Rehabilitation Institute and/or the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians) Zoey’s Hydrotherapy was recommended by multiple vets. zoeys hydrotherapy was recommended by all creatures vet clinic. Additionally, her hydrotherapy is provided by Jeff Royter. Jeff holds certifications from the APTA, Animal Therapy section, and the Canine Rehabilitation Institute. Are you saying that Jeff is not a qualified professional pursuant to the terms of the Rider? So based on your response, what I am hearing is that you are saying Jeff is not a qualified professional pursuant to the terms of rider, even though his credentials were verified with your team.
