Megan provided me, my wife and our two big golden doodles outstanding support. Trupanion was there when I needed the…
Trupanion was there when I needed the insurance to help cover emergency expenses for my cat. The vet emergency service, Gulf Coast Veterinary Services worked with my insurance company, Trupanion, every step of the way to make the difficult experience manageable so that my cat could be treated and diagnosed quickly. Trupanion made the process very manageable so that my cat could receive expert vet care. Although his prognosis is difficult, the process was made the best of thanks to Trupanion. I am very thankful that I insured my pets early in their lives so that when they do need expert vet care, it can be available for them. Buddy is at home now living out the rest of the time I have with him with more comfort because of this process Thanks Trupanion!

More headache than payout.
Got Fetch pet insurance for our new puppy, Generally a bad experience. Coverage amounts were frequently less than expected, and often required a lot of back and forth documentation to get even partial coverage. Most egregious situation was when our dog had a sore tail that he was biting at at 11 months old they refused to cover the vet assessment because he was noted to be scratching at his new collar on his first assessment, so it was a "preexisting condition". At the time I asked them not to renew when my policy ended. Then, when my policy ended, sure enough I got dinged for an annual renewal fee. Then when I called to get it reversed, they said they would only prorate me 11 months because I was already committed to continuing for at least another month. Ridiculous.
