Reliable Service
Fast, efficient and reliable service every time. No matter if the claim is submitted at the vet clinic or I submit an invoice, it’s always processed in a timely manner. The rates may be somewhat high, but I have NEVER had an issue with claim submission. Read the terms of your policy to know what’s covered-easy peasy!!

I wish I could give them a zero!
I wish I could give them a zero!! Misleading and scamming! I am super pissed off! I chose the best plan to give my self a piece of mind as I am super attached to my pup. She is the only one i have here in the states. My pup had an accident while moving on the stairs and she started limping. My pup is registered with a "low cost vet hospital" called pets in need of greater cincinnati. but as I did the insurance i went to one of the vet clinics "trupanion" had direct pay with to save my money. When checking out, trupanion rejected the claim! Every time they gave different excuse. The employee said bcz its not an accident! I said how! i can show you all her vet records she was never diagnosed with any problem related to her joints! I said Can i talk to the manager! she said that will not change the outcoome. I insisted on talking to the manager who was the rudest person ever. she doesnt qualify to be a manager. she said your policy doesnt cover this! i said when i went over my policy over the recorded line with your employee, he told me it does cover accidents 5 days post initiation of the plan. she said yes but it doesnt cover patella! i said wow! first i wasnt informed second isnt this an accident and emergency ? she said u should have read the terms! they cheated me and misled me over the fone and she said u should have read! I waas screwed with 500$ charges in the vet (thats the diagnostics) which i could have made with less than 100$ in pets in need. As i explained this to the manager, she didnt care and she was rude. Shame on you. Never recommend this. scammers! God will see!

I just recently signed up for the insurance. It was very easy to sign up. Other than that, I have no other comment or concerns.

Claim process was easy to follow
Overall they were easy to work with in getting the claim paid. There seemed to be some confusion regarding medical records that had been submitted, but could not be found in your system, but it was resolved satisfactorily.
