Straightforward injury claim denied
I am on my second year of Accident + Colic Coverage on my 4 horses, and recently added Complete/Accident + Illness on my 2 cats as well. This is my very first claim. My horse recently sustained bone trauma that unfortunately caused a portion of the coffin bone to became devitalized and turn into a sequestrum. Super straightforward accident/injury, right? Wrong, apparently. My small claim for radiographs and antibiotics was denied, since apparently"no eligible accident took place." A different claim on my cat (extraction of several teeth with resorptive lesions) was denied because she previously had lesions on a DIFFERENT tooth (which was removed/cured), FOUR YEARS AGO. Apparently damage to one tooth (even if that tooth is removed) counts as a pre-existing condition on other, previously healthy teeth... Make it make sense. This claim also took over a month to process and included the company repeatedly asking me for my cat's vet records - from my EQUINE vet. Garbage customer service, garbage insurance. I will NOT be renewing coverage and I will be warning every pet and horse owner I know to stay far, far away.

A great first experience
I’ve only had to use it once and it was for an emergency visit. They made it very easy to be reimbursed. It was a very simple and stress free.

Allowed us to focus on our pet
Our dog was diagnosed with cancer at 2 years old, with it recurring when she was 4. Healthy Paws quickly processed all of her vet bills without ever giving us a hard time, allowing us to devote our attention entirely to taking care of our pup.

good value for the coverage
good value for the coverage. I have not had to use the insurance yet so we'll see how that process is when the time comes.

ManyPets 5-star representative
The ManyPets representative was very kind and knowledgeable. She explained to me all the details of the policy. After an extensive search for a insurance for our pet, ManyPets offered the insurance that best fit our current needs.

Well I dislike the fact they do not…
Well I dislike the fact they do not disclose the fact that you cannot amend some of your coverage after you purchase the base insurance for your pet after the fact. You have to wait a whole year in order to do that. Now I cannot get preventative measures done for my dog such as vaccines, anti-parasitical medicines reimbursed. I have to pay out of pocket

This company is horrible
This company is horrible. The going rate for Embrace cat insurance is $15 - 25. They have the nerve to charge $72/mo. for one kitty! If you cancel, any treatments that they have sporadically paid for will then become pre-existing conditions that the next insurance company does not have to cover! Once there is a condition the pet has, they will refer to that condition and refuse to pay for things like cancer treatment, because there may be a “chance” the kitty’s condition caused the cancer or what ever the symptoms are. This is a legal scam that needs to be addressed, along with the obvious price gouging during a Pandemic. Insurance Commissioner, here I come. This challenge has been ongoing for three years of overpriced premiums and faulty claims copying equipment. Their equipment requires the processors to read blurry documents uploaded to their site unless the customer has the claim info professionally emailed. This costs more money!
