Recently signed up my new puppy - Clover
Recently signed up my new puppy. I’m very happy with how fast the claims process is! I figured with a new puppy I’d be spending money on veterinary costs anyway. This just gives me peace of mind that some of the puppy costs are paid over time and not all at once. Would definitely recommend Spot!

Very dificult to deal with, very little return on your money
i pay monthly for my two border collies, I finally tried to use the insurance with a claim for both dogs, my vet sent them required paper work which they said they did not get, I got it from the vet and sent it in 3 separate times, they paid a very small amount for 1 dog and then claimed they didn't get paper work for the second dog. Not worth the hassle do deal with this company

Shocking insurance company
This insurance company spends so much money on advertising and telling you to refer your friends but needs to spend more on the actual claim handlers. So far I’ve i been waiting just short of 4 months, for a large claim submitted. I’ve tried chasing it up, it’s so difficult to get through to them on the phone and when you do nothing actually happens. I’ve had my claim queried because our vets have our dog recorded as ‘dachshund’ whereas I noted him as a ‘miniature dachshund’ COME ON! Even the vets laughed thinking I wasn’t serious when I asked them to amend their records. I’ve informed them I am financially vulnerable and they literally don’t give a s…t. I gave them a second star only because when we had to claim in January they saw to this really quickly.

I had SUCH a negative experience with them. They looked back in my dogs records for a common dog complaint as a sign of his future serious illness! They are looking for reasons not to pay. That was my third claim and the first two were very cheap sick visits. I’m out almost $2000 to pumpkin and stuck with a large bill they won’t pay. And the coverage annually isn’t a lot. It’s not a good deal. Don’t buy the propaganda on their site. I’m going to appeal and if it doesn’t work I’m going to sue them and file complaints wherever I can. Do NOT get pumpkin. The pits. Also wait till you see how inaccessible the adjusters are.

Trying to submit a claim is a terrible experience
Trying to submit claiim via the only possible way to do so and after completing ALL of the required steps i hit submit and it starts buffering with "please wait" message.. indefinitely. Screen is not frozen it just buffers continuously until i eventually exit the app after 20 minutes. I did this 3 separate times. I saved the claim and when i log back in and hit sumbit it does it again.

LONG TIME HAPPY CUSTOMER
I've been a long time customer and have had to file a few claims over the years. It's always fast and simple and processed quickly. This most recent time was the fastet a claim has been processed and reimbursement received. I'm happy with the service and as mentioned it has proven worthwhile to me several times in the past 😀🐱
