For Those Big Emergencies, It’s a Lifesaver
I was skeptical about purchasing pet insurance because I saw the return on two of my claims was minimal. Then my puppy found a baggie with my daily meds in it that I had forgotten about in the pocket of a pair of pants that were on the floor of the bathroom while I was taking a shower. I came out of the bathroom and found a capsule that she had bitten through and the powder from inside was nearly gone. After a trip and overnight to Emergency Vets, the bill was nearly $2000. I filed the claim, and within ten days $1800 was deposited into my bank account. Now I know why I have insurance!

Trupanion !broken teeth /cancer dog
I was a bit skeptical of pet insurance before. I thought I could tuck away enough for an emergency fund. I actually canceled my pet insurance. But then had a dog who tore her acl. 5$k later she was ok, if I had kept the pet insurance it would have been covered (but never any other acl since pre-existing). Just a tip if you have big dogs. My lab-boxer dog now has had 2x cancer removal surgery and.. totally unrelated cracked 3 teeth which were extracted. trupanion paid very generously. I submitted the estimate from the vet and it made it so easy. My dog was a rescue at 4 months.. she is 12 now. Without pet insurance from Trupanion she may not have made it this far.

Easy process. Unfortunately our second fog’s enrollment could not be found and she was added immediately with no questions asked. We love the trip anion response to the problems for our first dog and did not hesitate to add Sienna to the plan

First time puppy owners.
Purchased my first fur baby and was helped by Ieisha. My wife and I had a great experience as Ieisha was very informative and helpful with all our concerns. She answered all our questions and even had plenty of suggestions on the caring of our new puppy as we are first time dog owners. She also suggested we get our insurance for our puppy! And the online training It was a pleasure and she made the entire experience special.Thank you all so much can’t wait to visit when we are ready to grow our fur family.

We recently got a new kitten
We recently got a new kitten. The customer support was very helpful in explaining the policy and getting us signed up. What we don’t expect was having to rush our kitten Ruhnn to the emergency vet so soon. Everyone at Trupanion were so helpful throughout the entire process.
