Best coverage for my baby.
My baby needed medical care and I am on a fixed income. When I submitted my claim for vet care services that my precious dog received I was reimbursed as per policy. The only thing was I was reimbursed faster than I expected. Filing the claim was the easiest and I didn’t have to worry about my finances because Spot was spot on when it came to reimbursing me! I have no regrets with Spot!

When hugs and belly rubs aren't enough
Owning a boxer means medical bills are a fact of life. Trupanion provides the most coverage possible for acute and chronic conditions. Yes the monthly fees can be high, even with a high deductible, however the responsiveness for reimbursement and direct vet billing outweighs that. My most recent $5000 experience involved an endoscopy, ultrasound, xray and labwork followed by many months of $380/month medications in addition to prescription food. He's not yet 3 and I am sure as with my other boxer, he will be the vet loving creature that she was! It's a no brainer if you are considering and can afford insurance.

Terrible
I would not recommend MetLife pet insurance to my worst enemy. The lack of customer service follow through and loopholes to avoid paying a claim is disrespectful. Paying over $900 on premiums and $500 in deductibles and they deny a claim for $160. I would suggest going with a company that requires a pre-existing condition physical so you know what they expect upfront.

I have been paying on this insurance…
I have been paying on this insurance for 10 years. For 2 pets. I was always told i would get reimbursed 80%. I feel like i never got reimbursed enough on any of the claims i submitted. Always an excuse why. I would not recommend this company. I put in a lot of money over the years- thinking my claims would get mostly covered when my pets got older. Didnt happen.
