Ease of claims submission. Customer service was terrific. I had an appeal and it was quickly resolved. Quick payment using the direct deposit option. I am so glad I have Trupanion!

Outstanding Insurer
We insured our cat for three years with MetLife. We were delighted with the coverage and rapid claim payment. When we had to put our cat down owing to cancer, we were even more impressed with the firm. When speaking with the customer service agent about the cat's death, she was so compassionate and empathic. Plus, she ensured that the coverage was terminated on the cat's date of death and informed us of the amount of the pro-rated premium that we would get. In addition, we received a sympathy card from MetLife, as well as an e-mail informing us of free pet grief counseling that we could pursue. We would use MetLife again should we get another pet.
