This was easy to navigate. I really like the family plan, since I have more than one dog. The monthly vs yearly option to pay is nice (I did pick yearly) I really like the coverage options.

Claim Rejection for completely…
Claim Rejection for completely unrelated issue. We had our dog endure a full check up PRIOR to joining Spot Pet Insurance and she was given a clear bill of health. Some months after joining she developed an abscess in her mouth which resulted in her needing surgery to remove the tooth. our claim was rejected because the initial medical report we had done prior to joining Spot had remarked "Minor Tartar" on her teeth. This was enough for Spot to deny the claim. I am extremely disappointed that the link between minor tartar and a severe abscess is reason for denial. This is akin to linking long paw nails to reason for denial of a broken leg. !!

Pets Best continues to be one of the best decisions I have made when it comes to my Bulldog Merlin. Ease of filing, quick approval, and payment typically within a week. 2 1/2 years in and I continue to be very happy with their service.

Massive Increases- Save Yourselves
It seems obvious that they knew of the substantial increases when you got me to sign up for this but said the increases were only anticipated to be moderate. That would be fraud. Ive researched that around year 4 their premiums start dramatically increasing based on "findings" across the board. These findings are built into your premiums ahead of time so they are fully known about. Looks to me like they are buying customers up front with cheap premiums to ratchet them when they are already locked into coverage.
