TRUPANION DOSEN'T PAY
I TOOK MY DOG IN TO THE ANIMAL HOSPITAL FOR AN INJURY. TRUPANION DID NOT COVER THE EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT COST TO DETERMINE WHAT WAS HURTING MY DOG INTERNALLY. THEY ALSO DID NOT COVER THE XRAY COSTS TO DETERMINE WHAT COULD BE WRONG WITH MY DOG. THEY PROTECT THEIR SELF INTEREST BY STATING THAT AN EMERGENCY ROOM VISIT, BECAUSE MY DOG WAS YELPING IN PAIN, WAS AN "EXAM FEE" WHICH "THEY DO NOT COVER". HOW ELSE DOES AN EMERGENCY ROOM DETERMINE HOW TO TREAT AN INJURY WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE DOG FIRST? I CAN CLEARLY SEE HOW THIS COMPANY OPERATES NOW AFTER MY FIRST CLAIM. MY ADVISE, LOOK FOR OTHER PET INSURANCE PROVIDERS THAT ARE LEGITE. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED WITH TRUPANION AND I WILL BE LOOKING ELSEWHERE.

Everything starts out great but then…
Everything starts out great but then they throw a huge price increase on you. The first couple renewals are "normal" increases and then all of a sudden 37% increases on animals that have NEVER had a single claim. Way better off to set some money aside yourself for future bills rather than send them thousands (yes I pay over $1344/year) you might never use and cant get back. And bonus, the money I set aside myself covers 100% of ANY vet expense!!! NOW you want to talk to me about my account??? You didn't seem to want to talk when I called in to cancel. Asked my reason for leaving and said "ok" No one tried to talk to me at all!

Please Read the fine print. Bunch of lawyer term and conditions. They Value your money more than your Pets …
Got Fetch insurance based on reviews and cost. Within the first 30days I had my dog in to get a full check up and he passed with flying colors as a healthy happy dog. Then a couple months later I’ve noticed he had a little bit of a limp so I wanted to go get him checked out at the vet to see if it’s anything serious. Fetch immediately denied my claim and hid behind some clause they conveniently had. I will never reccomend this company to anyone they value your money over your pets health!!! Please Stay away at all cost.

Our cat died and they increased our premium 40%
For the past year we have been extremely happy with our Embrace Pet Insurance. As a family with six cats, we were impressed with how quickly Embrace responded to emergencies once the initial claim is processed. When our beloved cat Rutabaga died, we were reimbursed nearly $9,000 of what turned out to be his end of life coverage fairly rapidly. Unfortunately, our experience renewing our insurance has not been similarly pleasant. We were shocked to find our policy had increased from $80 to $113 per month for 5 cats. The only claim we made (that was covered) was Rutabaga's inoperable tumor. We have spoken to customer service twice about this, and no one was receptive to our complaint – probably because it is obvious that we’d be on the hook for new pre-existing conditions if we were to change insurance providers. We strongly recommend thinking carefully about who you get your pet insurance from. The last thing we expected was our other cats’ premiums would increase so much after losing our Rutabaga.

Although my vet agreed that my dog was…
Although my vet agreed that my dog was injured in an accident, ASPCA Insurance decided to decline my claim. I am not sure how my dog tore a ligament through an illness, but that was the reason listed for the denial. She plays aggressively with our much larger dog, and clearly, she was hurt as a result. I am cancelling the insurance policies for both of dogs to try to offset some of the surgery expense. Overall, the people are very pleasant, but I prefer an insurance company that is willing to pay when it's their time.

Customer Service has been great so far, I hope I never have to use this insurance, but if I do I hope that experience is as good.

Would Highly Recommend
I am so pleased with my experience with Embrace to date. Once the initial set up is done and the vets have all given the necessary information, the process with Embrace is so quick and efficient. The choice of plans is amazing. I would highly recommend.

Great Company
I have had embrace accident for 5 yrs. I never needed them until my dog got skin allergies about 3 yrs in. Then was diagnosed with a heart defect at 4.5 yrs. I would never been able to afford her surgery without them. They were awesome, and my baby is healthy and happy at 5 yrs old.
