Great Insurance
I have had ASPCA pet insurance for many years and my claims have always been settled promptly. I would definitely recommend them. You can have the ability to decide what you want to cover, the amount to cover and the deductions. Thank you ASPCA you have saved my bank account many times.

Honest and good company, we’re grateful to be their customers!
I’ve (unfortunately) had to submit multiple claims over the years for injured and/or sick dogs. Never once have I ever had any issues getting reimbursed appropriately. And I’ve had some bigger claims- including emergency surgery and cancer treatments. The claim submission process is extremely easy. The customer service reps are always kind and ready to help. I recommend Pets Best Insurance any time the topic comes up to family and friends, and will continue to do so. Thank you to Pets Best for allowing us to give our dogs the best care possible! **Some things that people need to understand about pet insurance- pre existing conditions are a thing. Do not purchase this insurance (or any other pet insurance for that matter) AFTER a condition is diagnosed and expect to be reimbursed. That’s not how it works. Also, read the fine print and understand how your bill works. There are copays and premiums do increase every year based off of the plan you choose and the age of your dog (human insurance works the same way). In my experience the premiums increase about $50 per year, as the dog ages. And I stress- read the fine print! It’s pretty obvious that the people getting upset and leaving negative reviews about this company are ones who are not reading the fine print and allowing themselves the opportunity to understand their plan.

Your quoted rate WILL change
If you're not ok with your quoted rate doubling, tripling or worse; then do NOT sign up with Trupanion. My wife and I signed up 2 of our cats April 2023 and a year later both of their rates practically TRIPLED (57.99/month to 158.90/month)! They claimed it was their fault, because they didn't understand the Florida market. Since we never submitted a claim, I asked for all of our money back, since we'll never recoup it (we cancelled the coverage), but they refused. So, how is it they screw up (which they admitted), but we're out over $600? Seems like a bait and switch to me. Trupanion is not a reputable company and this is a warning to anyone thinking about signing up with them. Just know, they can continue to increase your rate until you cancel and then they get to keep all your money you've paid in.

You were great with my refund for emergency care. Really great. But my other claims were basically denied. Reason preexisting condition. I don't think an ear infection in a different ear, different organism, and different treatment is preexisting.

Well only have had the coverage for a short period of time we went to the vet and had an exam done and shot of rabies shot and I have yet to one receive the benefit information and I did submit a claim that was over the deductible and I have not heard back regarding that claim whether a payment or a denial or anything otherwise I would give it more stars

Insurance is only as good as their willingness to pay out...
Insurance is only as good as their willingness to pay out -- and you never really know if they are going to pay out until after you sign up and make a claim. I've now had to make two claims with Pets Best and in both cases, they paid out exactly what was promised. I wish their processing went a little faster (they sent an email apologizing for the time it took proactively) but once a claim was authorized, they paid via ACH fairly quickly. I picked them because they were the most competitive for a "higher value" policy (unlimited annual coverage, $500 deductible, 90% coverage over deductible, and small adder to cover diagnostic fees). I picked this because I can always downgrade coverage in the future (but you can never go the other way) My only concern is I have no idea how much the renewal will cost; I'll find that out in 6 months or so.
