Claiming me not having records from 2021 when I was with them since 2017.
I have been with ASPCA since 2017 and was generally fine with them even though they tried to increase their price once in a while. However, just for this month, one of my cats got dental issue and had teeth extracted. I submitted a claim about it and ASPCA asked me for his medical records from 3/6/2021 to present. My vet had sent them records from April 2021 to present since that was when I started using this vet and I just did not go to any vet in March 2021. ASPCA still have the “action needed” warning on. When I called them, they said the just still need some record from that one missing month, which just literally nothing happened at that time since my cat was healthy and it was during COVID. And the reason they gave me was they need to make sure that my cat didn’t have dental issues before I started the plan with them, which as I mentioned at the very beginning, I have been with ASPCA since 2017! No matter what comes out during 2021, it should still be AFTER I got their plan! I’ll see what happens after today and if they don’t reimburse due to this dumb “you couldn’t show your cat had no dental issue before using our plan” reason, I will come update this post into a shorter version with one star and ask people to run from them.

Simple and easy. I would have preferred the agent send me something to review in writing rather than commit. Yes, I know I can change later, but in today's scam world, I would rather see what I am getting in writing before I commit my money and credit card.

I can't believe I am actually writing…
I can't believe I am actually writing this review! I have been with Fetchpet for 10 years and I have never had an issue. I had my car stolen about 3 months ago along with my wallet so I had to get a new credit card / account. I updated the account into on both of my accounts. My oldest dog has his own account and I entered in the new card info. Not thinking anything of it I went about my day. As his account is under my ex it is not under my email address, I am unable to see anything that comes in. Finding out now that all emails Fetchpet sends go to spam. I went to make a claim for him the other day only to see that his account was canceled. I was shocked and called them right away. I spoke to 3 different ppl, 2 of which didnt even escalate the issue as they said they would and the 3rd never called me back. I have been told now that they will not reinstate him. He is 11 and is loosing the use of his legs. All I wanted to be able to do was provide physically therapy and swimming for him as that is what he loves! I never thought I would leave a bad review here but here I am. "We care about your pets" ..... Right ok!

Claims have been processed quickly and they paid what they said they would. My only gripe is their app. It’s hella slow to load data and they’ve hidden claims, which is what I care about most.

Way too difficult to get customer service
I’ve tried more than one time to email and call customer service to understand why my dogs claim will not be processed. I don’t get a response for 5-7 days and when I do, it’s the same generic response. No critical thought put into it. I don’t know what medical record they are looking for, or I would try to provide it. If it’s going to be this difficult to submit claims I may have to look for another company. We had Embrace for years and never went through anything like this. It is still not resolved, and seems likely that a claim for this dog will never be processed since they won’t accept the records that I have already uploaded.

GRATEFUL DOG MOM
My fur baby Roseanne is just 6 years old and just was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma and I am beyond heartbroken. With all the pain, I am just so grateful that I actually got Trupanion for her and is able to take care of her. After paying $500 deductible for the mass diagnosis on her head that turned out to be a malignant cancer, all the succeeding treatments are 90% covered . I have one less thing to worry about and can do all I can to try to save her and try to see if we can cure her. Although I am not sure her tumor will shrink from radiation , I am just grateful that for every treatment, trupanion kept their word and within minutes paid for the bill. I have been paying $63 for Roseanne for 4 years and just last year started paying. $72 a month for insurance. Now that she has been sick, I have received surgery bill for $2800 and paid $350, CT scan bill for $4376 and paid $437, radiation 1st therapy $1000 and paid $100 . I highly recommend to pet owners. You really don't want to be surprised with a bill and not be prepared when the time comes. Thank you TRUPANION. I really want to thank you for being a truly honest company and I highly recommend you to all. As I write this review, Roseanne is still fighting cancer and I hope she will win her fight with the help of Trupanion.
