It's "okay" insurance
It's okay insurance. I got the preventative gold and I've submitted 2 claims. Only 1 got accepted even though they were pretty much the same type of claim from the same vet in 2 separate years. The part I dislike is that it was a waste of money if I'm not getting the preventative reimbursements and I can't even cancel the preventative gold without canceling the plan as a whole.

Fetch is a great investment.
Fetch is a great investment. I have two cats, one of which had a serious bladder issue that required hospitalization, and another with a mild skin irritation that periodically needs shots. I submit receipts for these issues, and the app keeps me notified as to where in the process the submission is, and the funds come through in a timely fashion. The insurance is reasonably priced and well worth it.

Do NOT waste your money on this…
Do NOT waste your money on this company. I had a Precious Shihpoo who passed away this morning from congestive heart failure. He was 11. I bought health insurance for him as soon as we got him but were very careful only to use it when absolutely necessary because we knew we would need it when he got older. Were we wrong!!!! When we had his first episode last month, I submitted a claim for over $2000 which was quickly denied. Their reason was that he had a congenital condition. I asked them how they knew he had a congenial disease and not age related since they had no tests from when he was young. Their response to this was that when they were writing the plan, they considered all the diseases that "might"be congenital and excluded them from coverage. We are furious. Please learn from our mistake and DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY.

Fetch is family
Our little pup was always active from the first day we took her home. We did everything we thought we should. Trained her well. Rewarded her with the things pups love most. One day, however, she jumped from the sofa and herniated her back. We took her for treatment at the animal university center. Initally we wanted to avoid surgery but medicated treatment would turn out to be insufficient and we had to reconsider surgery. After the neurosurgeon consult, we confirmed our policy coverage (as easy as sending an email…. Who would have guessed?!?) Then came the day of surgery. We were able to focus on our little girl’s care and comfort. Fetch took care of the rest. They were very clear and prompt in telling us what to request for documentation from the hospital. They advised it could take a few weeks to get the claim fully reviewed and a check issued. We got weekly check-in emails advising us the status. Within three weeks we had a check in the mailbox. They covered exactly what they advised they would. No hidden costs. No small print. No headaches or debates. Their proactive and open line of communicating with customers reminds me of what is important when our fur family’s health is priority number one. Thank you Fetch family!

Puppy policy
It is hard to decide which pet insurance to chose. Once you pick one you can never leave because everthing that has happened to your pet is now a pre existing condition. Which means no other pet insurance will cover your pet. So I talked to 6 different companies and chose Fetch. Fetch had all the items I thought I needed for my new puppy. Fetch has a easy app to put all you documents on and they pay very quickly. But I was told they pay for all puppy shots. But as we all know puppys get 3 shots of DAPP. Fetch only pays for one of each vaccine, so I had to pay for the other two. Which is not what I was told by the sales people. I asked this question two times to make sure they would pay for all puppy vaccines. I will write another review if another loop hole comes up, but needless to say I am disappointed in the bait and switch.
