Embrace has been wonderful

Embrace has been wonderful. The claims submission is very easy and the website walks you through each step needed. My puppy didn't have some background information that was needed and they reached out and let me know what they needed and how to get it. Response time is quick and they are available for any questions. Wonderful experiences so far.

Great service and coverage!

I was told that pet insurance was a waste of money but that is not the case at all! Spot has been so helpful in walking me through the process, how to submit claims and making sure I know what I can and can’t do. Everyone I talk to is helpful and friendly, and they always ask how my dog is. Claims are quick and easy to process and they reach out to the vet for information as well so I am not sending the wrong things in. I am so happy I chose Spot Insurance!

Their plan is to FIND a pre-existing condition

It has been 2 years of frustration, follow up, runaround, and non-payment with this company. Our dog has literally been enrolled with Embrace since 9 weeks of age. The first year we did the wellness plan and the work we had to do just to save $25 was ridiculous!! our vet submitted to them all the required proof of health and orthopedic wellness. But this apparently was useless. We had to repeatedly call in order to get any of our wellness visits paid. Anyhow, 2 years later and We had an emergency come up with our dog that cost $2800 due to something our dog ate. Yet they are refusing to reimburse us because (according to THEM) they need to verify that this was not a pre-existing condition. What?!? So I called and spoke with a rep and had her tell me word for word what I needed to email my vet and request them to send. The vet sent everything they asked. But Because our dog has never had anything other than vaccines and wellness visits, there are no extensive notes. So Embrace says their notes are insufficient. Now, instead of needing notes from the first 3 months of his insured period, they now need all of our dog’s info from June of 2021 to NOW. Our dog was not even born until September of 2021!! So apparently, they want to find something - ANYTHING - as a way to not pay. They also seem to want to tell my vet how to take notes. At this point, it’s not even about money. It’s about how much this company has wasted my vet’s and my time. Save yourself the aggravation. Go with someone else.

Still have a claim pending from…February

Still have a claim pending from February. Now after 5 weeks I see they are requesting paper work from the vet. Very slow on paying out claims. Should have stuck with Nationwide.

Figo didn't cover Mando's last vet…

Figo didn't cover Mando's last vet visit for his eye injury. I thought insurance was supposed to cover it? I guess you have to read the fine fine print.

Fetch Pet has Provided Amazing customer…

Fetch Pet has Provided Amazing customer service, Easy process, and the feeling of reassurance that if there is an emergency you don't have to worry about how you're going to pay for it. My dog Mallory was overall healthy her entire life and just recently in her teens we experienced more vet visits that were extremely costly. I can't imagine not having Pet insurance, last year we even maxed out our policy with visits and when the renewal came, I was surprised to see that it wasn't much more than the previous year even with all the claims. When she passed in March they paid the claim and without even being asked cancelled the policy and refunded the pro rated difference of the policy. When I called in to check that everything was all set (because the process seemed so almost too easy) Kathryn the representative was so sweet really listening to me talk about my dog who just passed away. I have never had a negative experience, and everything was very easy on the online portal. I can't say enough good things about this company. IF your wondering if you should buy pet insurance, From my experience with a ill senior dog After witnessing so many people in the Emergency Rooms putting their pets to sleep because they couldn't afford the cost of surgery's, treatment etc., PLEASE GET YOUR PET INSURANCE. I am so relived I never had to make that decision and my decision to lay her to rest was because we had no more options and not due to a vet expense.
