Scam insurance
Scam insurance. They do not in fact cover preexisting conditions and although they promise to pay within 48 hours it's been three weeks and they still haven't paid my approved claim. Every email I send goes ignored.

Fitz pneumonia
When the need was greatest Trupanion was there for us. Fitz was given less than a 20% chance of survival. I wanted him to have every chance possible. The doctors, Trupanion and Fitz will to live have given him a 2nd chance at life!

Go with a different insurance company
I adopted a puppy at nine weeks of age, purchased Spot insurance for the puppy a week later. She started having some problems when she was 12 weeks old. Spot would not cover any of it. They are extremely difficult to get a hold of, the phone number that is listed usually says "your call cannot be completed at this time", even during business hours. Their website is very difficult to navigate and it takes forever for them to complete a claim, I would not recommend this pet insurance to anyone. I spent more time than it was worth trying to upload documents, trying to find the correct email and the woman i spoke to was not very helpful or friendly. If you are thinking about going with this company, DON"T!!

Major relief!
Really thankful to have this for peace of mind while dealing with my dog’s cancer, which required surgery and chemo. Good coverage (we did high deductible to pay 90%) and a very reasonable time frame for reimbursement.

Terrible coverage and wait times
Terrible coverage and wait times. I supposedly have accident and illness coverage - and they won't cover my dog's ear infection. Absolutely ridiculous!
