Quick Reimbursement for Wellness Appt
We too our dog to the vet on Friday for her annual wellness check, and we had reimbursement in our checking account on Tuesday. They covered the majority of our wellness bill. I hope if we ever have an emergency it goes as smoothly as the wellness heck

I'd been very reluctant to purchase pet insurance because I'd heard horror stories about high premiums and claims disputes. But, I took a chance a few months ago with my 10-year-old beagle and shopped around. I was very surprised at Spot's reasonable rates for an older dog - Spot was priced at least 10-15 percent less in monthly premiums than competitors. And, I've had a couple of claims so far that Spot handled quickly (within a week of filing). I'd encourage anyone who's feeling trepidatious about buying pet insurance to check out Spot - I'll recommend them to everyone I know who has pets!

Highly recommend Healthy Paws
We have had great experience with Healthy Paws. Their Customer Service department is great and wants things to get resolved to the customer's satisfaction. Their newly revamped app makes it easy to submit claims and get reimbursed in a timely fashion. We started with Healthy Paws years ago before our dog Socks had any problems and now have had to rely on them the past few years. We love Healthy Paws.

this company is a scam
I have been a loyal member of trupanion for many years, with no claims. I finally submitted my first claim the other day, which was promptly denied. It was a dental cleaning, but they had to go in and treat some issues for my cats teeth and trim back his gums. I was upset, so I called to cancel. The agent was incredibly kind and said she thought this claim should actually be covered due to the additional treatment, so I should have my vet write a note that this was above and beyond a regular dental, and they had to treat some dental disease. I took the time to do this and put off cancelling. Weeks bypass by and crickets. I think they got the memo I wanted to cancel so held out as long as they could. I finally heard today- they won’t cover any of it. This company is a scam. Looking at the other reviews now I see I was wrong to put my faith in this company. Additionally, the claims process is complicated and annoying. Do not use trupanion. I wish I could give zero stars.

NOT worth the money
The ap does not let you upload Docs, have to do it online. (Even though Ap has a spot for it, it does not allow the uploads from a phone) I have uploaded my invoice 3 times, and just received a call that I have not uploaded it. My first and only vet appointment was not paid at all. I am most likely canceling both pets coverage!
