I have called twice requesting that a claim form be sent to Santa Fe Animal Hospital and one sent to me and neither of us have received this.

So far not impressed
I had just gotten my new Kitten. She got into some bad stuff and had to go to the hospital. It was an emergency clinic so the bill was BIG. They auto denied the claim and when I clarified it was covered by the accidental coverage within the 14 days or whatever, my claim has been stuck in limbo. I checked in with my vet and they said they have given all of the relevant information. I’m going to give it a few more days and will update my review as necessary, but so far I am not impressed.

Many things have made my experience great with AKC pet insurance: we got a corgi puppy in November 2023, my first experience with a puppy. I have had other pet insurance coverage, nothing like AKC: AKC covered a claim for when Mochi ate too many indigestibles and had to have a procedure for flushing out his intestines in January, and AGAIN on April 2024...I recently spoke with Matthew, who has a great presence on the phone and is personable, empathetic, and patient with explaining benefits and procedures to me. I am very pleased with the quick responses to claims and the ease for which to add a claim.

With me every step!
I got a puppy to train as my service dog. A few weeks after we brought her home she was very sick and it went on for months. Embrace was with me every step of the way. The EoB's are easy to understand. The people I've chatted with have been very kind and so far everything has been covered. It takes the most frustrating part of a scary situation out of the equation.

Today is the first time I’ve had a chance to take the time to say how grateful I am for, Delaney and Rebecca. Getting what I need has been effortless. I call and ask questions and add policies, with ease. I get the information that I needed and then some. I know my fir babies are going to be taken care of.

Potential sago poisoning…
Recently I had a potential poisoning scare with my dog. On our walk it looked liked she had picked up a sago palm nut and ate it. I was unable to get it out of her mouth. I rushed her to a local emergency room where vomiting was induced. Because of the severe toxicity of sago plants she had to be transferred to a veterinary hospital that had critical care vets for further treatment and observation. She remained hospitalized for 2 days. She is fine now thankfully. I sent all invoices to Embrace who quickly reimbursed me for 90% (per my policy) of my expenses. When I had some questions about the process they were very helpful explaining things to me. I am so grateful that Embrace made the frightening experience easier to navigate without the fear that I would not be able to afford critical emergent care for my sweet Pippa. Thank you, Embrace!

Absolute excellent insurance. They provided my pet with maximum coverage at an affordable price. When my dog needed urgent surgery they covered everything no questions asked! Highly recommend this insurance over any other.

I just cancelled my policy
I just cancelled my policy. After 4 years the cost more than doubled. I had no claims that were ever approved. I sent 4 emails requesting the cancellation before the company responded. Very poor business in my opinion
