Made insurance talk easy to understand
My person on the phone was the absolute best. I told her I was kind of new with the insurance lingo with words such as max payout, annual deductible and premium, she broke it down so that now I get it. I asked some questions over and over til I got it. She was patient, kind and professional. She made talking about insurance easy to understand. If you happen to reach her as the agent to speak with you then consider yourself lucky. I have nothing bad to say about her and Fetch pet insurance, it's all good.

Embrace Pet Insurance is a racket and a scam. They will tell you pre-existing conditions might be covered in a year, to get you to buy their insurance. Then a year later they tell you it’s not. They will decide your pet has a pre-existing condition, not tell you about it, and then you will have to find out when you submit your claim and it is denied. They also classified a skin condition as pre-existing, and every other type of skin issue then fell under that label, even when they were different, Alopecia versus a scratch. This allowed them to deny all claims associated with my pet’s skin; no matter what it was. What a joke! Go somewhere else! This has been the biggest waste of my time and money! SCAM!!!!

Not what I was expecting
I will need to talk to my rep as when I signed up at the shelter the reimbursement rate was 90%. Also, it looks like the allowable reimbursement for wellness is less than the premium.

Horrible conclusion
The lady from Texas that I talked to was so very sweet and helpful. I really appreciate how she explained everything. A couple hours after I talked to her my puppy found something on the floor and started choking and we had to do CPR and Mouth breathing for her on the way to the vet who is 5 mins away. She passed by the time we got there. I phoned this morning to report this horrible event and the lady was very nice and took Finn off our account. Disappointed in rate hikes
I have been a Trupanion customer for 12 years. Over the last 3 years our monthly premiums have increased incredibly. Its disappointing because we havent had an huge claims in the last 2 years. I was notified today that our rates would be increasing over $500 for the coming year. I will certainly be pricing out other carriers for my next pets.
