Very disappointing experience
Very disappointing experience. I was so excited to get pet insurance to help with vet expenses. The woman that signed me up encouraged wellness visits and said how important that was to them. Then I was reimbursed $0 for my cats wellness visits, which is spent over $600 on. I submitted over $1,000 in claims while having fetch and was reimbursed $9!!! Needless to say, I canceled my policy.

Seemed promising…
We switched to Figo because the cost seemed very reasonable for the coverage and we liked the opportunities to personalize what we needed/wanted. However, after only one year and with zero submitted claims, our payment went up $10 per month. We won’t stay with Figo long if this keeps happening.

If I could do over, I would have gone a different route
I would not recommend this insurance for anyone considering it with a new pet. - they base YOUR yearly payment on the health of pets FROM YOUR AREA. They increase your monthly payment by $20/month without warning. I started out paying $37/Month 8 years ago. Now I pay $80 - having that I paid about $57 as of last year… you can see where I have a problem. This increase came with zero warning to me. Sure my dog had some arthritis related issues but as of today she hasn’t needed anything big at the vet, no surgeries or anything like that. So.. do with that info what you want. I’d definitely gone a different route if I could.
