Professional and expedient
I had rushed my dog to the emergency unit because she seem to be bleeding from her eye as it turned out she had an abscess. I submitted my claim, received an acknowledgment, and after sometime the Claim was paid and deposited into my account. I submitted a second claim in order for her tooth to be extracted and again I received an acknowledgment, and very soon after that claim was paid and deposited directly into my account. I highly recommend Fetch. I haven’t had any problems with any of the claims that I have submitted. I also recommended Fetch to my girlfriend for her dog.

Make sure to do your homework before signing up
I was very pleased with the coverage offered by this company. However I caution any new customers, do your homework before joining. I joined specifically for the direct payment to the vet. I check with Trupanion and yes I am told your vet clinic is on our direct pay list. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM, check with you vet first, that was my mistake. My vet has never received a direct payment from them. When I contact Trupanion I get a new version of the story, yes your vet in on our list, but that does not mean he accepts payment or uses the option. A point they seem to leave out when you are getting the " how great we are " from the person selling you coverage. Even though it was the specific reason I was inquiring, which was stressed several time. Had coverage with another company and switched for this reason only. The coverage looks good so three stars, feeling like I have been taken advantage by a less than forth coming sale tactic cost them 2 stars. We will see how future dealings go.

Long Time and Loyal Customer Cancelling
I have been a very long time and loyal customer of ASPCA Pet health Insurance. Back in the early days 10 plus years ago, I raved about the benefits, the premium, and the customer service. While I do believe the customer service representatives are excellent- I now feel the coverage has declined and the costs have become too high. I have 3 dogs, and in the last 6 months- not $1 has been reimbursed-even if my dog developed a rash from something- if he had a rash 5 years ago for something completely unrelated- they will decline the coverage. They even declined the coverage for a torn ACL on the right hind leg because of an old injury my dog had on the left hind leg!

30% rate hikes
I was a huge fan of Trupanion for years, but am so disappointed with their decision to increase rates 30%+ across the boards, with PR-finessed talking points about "inflation" and "costs in my area". Yes, inflation is real and something Trupanion, like other companies, must account for - but 30%+ increase in renewal is a cynical cash grab that is totally off-brand. If you Google "Trupanion rate hikes" you'll come across the real reason: recent decision in California courts to approve massive increases.
