I absolutely LOVE this company for my pet insurance. I have had absolutely No problems with them, only mistakes I've made when submitting a claim. I would submit them the old way from my OTHER pet insurance company I used before. Once you submit claim correct to them the refund is given quickly. If you ever have any questions they have a self help section or a toll free number. Either one you choose is very helpful.

Spot to the rescue!
I took Peony to the emergency vet, suspecting a urinary tract infection. Submitting my claim was easy, but it was not complete. I received an email saying I needed to provide the veterinarian's exam notes. I did so via the email address provided, and "Bingo!" my claim was settled, covering most of my emergency bill. I am so glad I have Spot Pet Insurance!

Rates out of control!
I have been with Trupanion for 2 pets, my latest is a 5yr old AKC golden retriever that has been insured since 8 weeks. I have never submitted a claim, he gets his annual checkups and wellness exams, is a very healthy dog, and Trupanion has raised my rate from $60/month to $120/month in 2 years time. I called them to discuss and they said their rates are based on in depth studies etc etc .. so I asked to see those studies to substantiate their claim and they refused. Trupanion was once a good company now they are financially in distress and passing that on to good customers
