Embrace used to be responsive but not so much any more.
I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for 12 years. I’ve been happy with the insurance itself. However, previously it was easy to call with questions or issues about claims. But lately I’ve been on hold for several times for 15 minutes and then it goes to “call failed”. Earlier this month I sent email request to return my call but I never got a call. It doesn’t matter what time of day I call. I am not happy with this.

Has gone down hill.
15 years ago Trupanion was a great company. Now, like alot pet insurance companies, they're just shy of a scam. They'll willing take your money, and then do everything in their power to deny your claims. You'll be made to jump through hoops to appeal issues. Get a savings account, and save your monthly payment rather than paying these people. 8 out of 10 times you'll come out ahead in the long run.

I need to cancel Josies insurance
I need to cancel Josies insurance. It is not worth my money. Since it really doesn't cover the expensive things for Josie, like, spaying. It is not a good program for my puppy.

If only human health insurance operated this well
I have been with Healthy Paws for 7+ years, and any time I have filed a claim, it has been handled efficiently and accurately. I just files two claims about 2 weeks apart, one large one for an emergency surgery. In both cases I received my EOB in 2 days after submitting the claim and the reimbursement in 1 week after filing. I wish human health insurance operated as well. It really was a weight off my mind during a stressful situation with my pet.
