The reimbursement was higher than I thought it would be but the process took a very long time.

I had not filed a claim in quite a while
I had not filed a claim in quite a while, and their procedures had changed...for the better. I called and asked a BUNCH of questions. I was treated with courtesy and respect, and the CS representative not only answered all my questions, but provided answers to a few I hadn't thought of. I've been able to easily submit my claim online with no issues.

Very expensive
Very expensive, no one picks up the phone. But Fetch has no problems with increasing each year! It's like I get slapped on the hand if I use the insurance. Policy raises up each year like $30-$40/per month. This recent past year, it went up $90/per month. I sent a letter and received no response. I feel like I will be forced to end the policy. I thought I was 'grandfathered' into a policy? What I paid from the beginning until now, is ridiculous! Noone will reach out to me in regard to this feedback just like I have not received a response from the 2 letters I sent and the multiple calls I made.

I have had 2 claims and it has been 60…
I have had 2 claims and it has been 60 days they are still not complete when they received the SOAP medical history still want place under precondition. I frustrated and thinking about look for another insurance. I max out my wellness plan but still there no pull down menu for illness to submit a claim. They didn't cover exam fees, prescription drugs, and lab test.

How in the world is vomiting a…
How in the world is vomiting a pre-existing condition? Dogs vomit for 100s of reasons but because he threw up one time when he first came home, it relates to him getting a bowel obstruction & is therefore a pre-existing condition. Insane.

Informative without being pushy

Planning for the Unexpected
I decided to invest in Healthy Paws pet insurance for my dog after I adopted him from a shelter 8 years ago. He was 4 at the time and now he’s 12. I only filed 4 claims during the first seven years but now that he’s getting older, he needs more care. Recently, he accidentally got into some trail mix and consumed raisins and chocolate – two of the most deadly items for dogs. I rushed him to the emergency vet, where he stayed in the ICU for two days. Thanks to Healthy Paws, I didn’t even have to think about the cost. Their staff is caring and wonderful, and the claims are super easy to submit and are processed very quickly. They even sent me a follow-up email after his hospital stay to see how he was doing. As we move into my dog’s “senior” years, I feel I have a true partner in keeping my fur baby’s remaining years happy and healthy. Plus it’s true “insurance” against those unexpected incidents. Healthy Paws has been worth every penny.
