Good company but the monthly

Good company but the monthly charges are very expensive. There was no hassle when I canceled the policy.

Great service

The staff was wonderful in assisting me with my claims. Not only is submitting claims through the website both intuitive and quick, when an issue arose with missing paperwork, the staff was extremely helpful in getting to a resolution. I had issues with paperwork from a previous vet and although it wasn't a quick resolution, due to the vet, Embrace was very patient and extremely helpful in getting to a positive resolution.

Used to be a great insurance, not anymore

I’ve been a customer for more than 7 years. They used to have the best premium and customer service. I understand the increase in premium( my dog is not getting any younger) , but they started to give me a hard time with claims. They refuse to cover medically nessesary tests even after I provide notes from the vet. If I submit a claim once a year, no matter what is in there, they refuse to cover because they look at it as a wellenes exam. They don't read any medical records. Also, their customer service went down dramatically. People answering the phone sound like they just woke up and can barely talk. There is no way to trarck the appeals other than call them, but the only thing that would tell you is just to wait for an email which is always a script. I am now looking for a different company for my dog’s insurance. Hope they will at least have a better customer service.

Waiting to see how the claims proceed…

Waiting to see how the claims proceed plays out. They have continued to assert “additional items requested from vet have not been received” despite me emailing all medical documents and uploading them to website multiple( at least 4) times. Claim status still reading pending. Claims are for 6/25 and 6/28 events. So coming close to 60 days old.

Disappointed, but hopeful…

I have been disappointed so far with my experience trying to get my dog’s vet visits covered. I rescued my 8 year old dog in December 2023. She had been surrendered with little information about her history. Even though Spot reached out to my vet and both my vet and I provided all the information available, they kept asking for more. It took phone calls and multiple submissions to make any progress. I’m hopeful now, SIX months later, that all future vet visits will be covered per my policy.

Easy to file claims

Our dog has had medical issues recently that required visits to the emergency vet clinic. Then we went to a specialist surgeon for surgery to alleviate a breathing problem. In every case, it was very easy to submit a claim, which was paid very quickly. I only wish my own health insurance was this good!! Thank you, Embrace, for your great service!

My rates went up 35% on 2 dogs age 2…

My rates went up 35% on 2 dogs age 2 and 4. I was told it was because they ate"older" now. Filed a claim a month ago and still waiting to be paid and was told they have 45 days to review and pay complicated claims. My dog had wet dermatitis and required a shaved neck and antibiotics. That's all. Not complicated. These ppl will say anything to sign u up then screw u any chance they can. I'm presently looking for new pet insurance since my rates are now over 100 a month now that the " honeymoon " period is over. They bait u in with a decent price then slam u with a massive rate increase as soon as the policy is renewed. Plus 45 days for any response on a simple claim is unacceptable

They don't pay

They don't pay, blame it on fake information. My dog has been on the plan for about a year he got pink eye and they refuse saying he was treated for this before so it's a pre existing condition. He was never treated for this, this is the first time he's had it. When you call they play games like transfer the call or say the adjuster would call in 24 hours it's been 4 days and no call. I use a different company for another dog that I will go back to this is not worth the money.

I could not have chosen a better pet…

I could not have chosen a better pet insurance. I wound up having two cats with medical issues. I have no problems submitting appropriate claims for them and having them approved in a timely manner. I happily recommend this pet insurance company
