BEWARE of price increases…
Until this year I would've recommended Trupanion, but this year my monthly rates have increased almost 50% despite making no claims. It's amazing the company can claim that prices won't increase based on pet age and number of claims, but you can bet they'll find another reason. Talked to someone in customer service who told me my rate went down last year by 2.25% like I'm supposed to be grateful. A 50% premium jump makes it impossible to continue to be a customer with the company and my dog is only 3. Couldn't be more disappointed.

satisfied so far So far so good with SPOT. I have 12 cats and all of them have either an illness/accident or accident only plan with SPOT because I work for NYC and I get 10% off plus another 10% off with multi-pet discount. So far I only submitted few claims for one of my cats and SPOT has reimbursed on all of the claims and the processing time was very good as well.

I have submitted the same claim for my dogs pancreas medications for about a year without any problems or issues getting paid. I submitted the same original paperwork since last year on 8-9-24 and re submitted everything again on 9--9-24! It already takes 45 days to get paid back. I spend $700 a month and this time its going to take over 90 days to get any money back. This time the process was terrible. I called into customer service twice, the first person who helped me was not very friendly and I feel she made the issue take longer on purpose! I would cancel my policy and go to another company if it were not for my dogs pre existing conditions!!! I referred two clients to you guys the past month and wish I would not have! The entire claim process for this was a joke & I am the one paying for it (still will not get my reimbursement for another 45 days!)

Very thankful for Spot Insurance
My dog recently had a sudden injury and I wasn't sure how this process would work because I've never had insurance for my pets before. Spot insurance made it very easy to submit claims and check on the status of those claims so that I always knew what was going on. They also reimbursed the medical claims quickly so I could get the care my pet needed without stressing over the money. I'm very thankful to have Spot insurance for all my dogs and I definitely recommend them to everyone who has pets.
