Unleashed Frustrations-My Experience with Peter Best
My experience with PetBest’s claim process for my puppy Cola’s wellness care was disappointing. Despite having an Essential Wellness policy, my claim for a Vetco package, Pup Shield Pro, did not cover services like rabies and other vaccinations, fecal exams, and microchipping, which should have been covered. The package was a cost-effective choice that should have benefited both parties. Under the EssentialWellness Endorsement of my policy, I pay premiums with the expectation that preventative care for Cola is covered. What I am requesting is entirely within the reasonable expectations of my policy's provisions and a standard request that should have been easily addressed. Instead, it led to a tedious back-and-forth with PetBest and Vetco, which was frustrating and concerning for the handling of potential future claims. I urge PetBest to consider this as constructive feedback for improving their customer service and claim process, reflecting the integrity and reliability policyholders expect. I just joined Pet Best on March 14 2024, a week later, I’m in the process of find a new pet insurance company. So if anyone has a recommendation, please let me know.

We love Pumpkin Insurance
Pumpkin Ins. is awesome. We have had nothing but positive experiences. Our Frenchie had spinal surgery last year and our Boston had rectal surgery this year. Pumpkin has supported us all the way. Vet bills are horrible these days. So if you have pets whether it be dogs or cats you need Pumpkin. I don’t know what we would do without it. Thank you Pumpkin.

It’s so easy to submit a claim and get get reimbursed the expenses incurred towards Luna’s surgery and hospitalization. During our traumatic times, pet insurance provider did a wonderful job in processing our claim.

Worth it
After our dog spent several days in the ER, we were presented with a very large bill. The claim process was extremely easy - used the app to take pictures of the invoice and submit it. It took about three days to get approved and payment was sent. I was skeptical about purchasing “pet insurance” initially but this helped us avoid a big financial hit when we couldn’t really afford it.

Efficient process
I have come to rely on Trupanion's Customer Service for excellent service no matter the situation. Folks there are calm and well-informed so they can answer questions and process claims effectively. Their courtesy is seldom found among others in their line of work. Many cheers and thanks for handling the variety of questions and claims I have had so kindly and efficiently.

I purchased this insurance for Luna as soon as I got her home from the breeder. The entire process was very simple and I loved that I could pick a plan to fit my needs for Luna. It’s been a year now and I’ve sent in several claims and they were very quick to respond and direct deposit is the way to go. Highly recommend PETS BEST thank you for helping me keep Luna healthy

Buyer beware, don’t buy unless your pup is in pristine heath.
They find many and varied reasons not to pay. I don’t even send in claims because I get so upset when they wiggle out. This is illegal with humans but going on in full force with pet insurance. It is a scam to drain your wallet with fancy suggestions that someday something may go wrong that they may consider paying. I am considering dropping it all together. Having difficulty figuring out why I pay, except I want everything customary for my pup.
