Worth every penny
Worth every penny! Coverage is phenomenal, app is user friendly and claims are easy and thorough. It really puts my mind at ease having pet insurance for those emergencies AND wellness.

So far not good
I can't say much in the way of positive right now. I filed a claim two months ago which still has not been resolved. I just started insurance with Embrace based on reviews and have paid three months of premiums with no resolution. I get that they need my dog's medical history and that was provided after a call to his Vet and Emergency Vet, but recently they would not pay the claim because they needed medical records from a Vet in NC before I even adopted him?! I called to tell them this was getting a bit ridiculous...how am I supposed to have records from before I knew him? When I called and hit the prompt for customer inquiries, I was told it would be an hour wait. I hung up and called back and hit the prompt for "cancel insurance," and got someone right away. I explained I am rethinking my decision because of these ridiculous inquiries and adopting a dog with an unknown past should not be all that uncommon. I was assured that I will hear something in a few days...we'll see. That was Friday and this is Tuesday? I also updated my address while on the phone with the customer service representative. I moved five miles away and changed the last number of my zip code from a seven to six and was informed my premiums will go up?! We are seeing the same Vet...how can our premiums go up?

Spot is great health insurance for the pet you love.
I feel SPOT is a great company to provide health insurance for your pet. Like everyone else you don't insure the existing stuff but some things that are temporary are insured after they get well and been there for a bit. That's just logical business and they are upfront about it. The first claim may take a bit, they have to gather the past information on your pet from the vet but any claims after that go thru pretty quick. The claim process itself is straight forward and easy to access online. If you can scan and attach the invoice billing it goes faster.

We have had embrace more than a year. We have been impressed with the timeliness and helpfulness in all of our contacts, including claims. The personnel have been very courteous and have always given us proper guidance. Stongly recommend.

I am very disappointed to learn that…
I am very disappointed to learn that the allergy treatment for my dog is not covered. The medication alone was $375.00 the first time and $200 the second time. The dog is miserable without the treatment and yet embrace does not even cover the prescription.

FETCH deserves zero stars
FETCH deserves zero stars! We were customers for over a decade and our one claim for our dog's "end of life" care was delayed and denied. Only the offices of Scrooge & Marley would exercise the scruples to separate out "body care" from his final medical procedure to ensure a deductible is not met. Our last bill was $625 and they refused to cover the portion minus the deductible. I guess these soulless beings expected us to leave a decomposing dead body on our living room floor. For a disabled person who lost his Beloved therapy dog, this was the most extreme cruelty. Contrast this with Chewy which immediately refunds your last food purchases and instructs customers to just donate the package to your local rescue shelter rather than returning the product. Again avoid this heartless insurance shark which treats it's most loyal customers with disdain. Given Jet died during "Christmas in July" the greedy corporate executives at Fetch will likely end up being visited by three spirits. For they have forged ponderous chains of money boxes around their waists and will wear them forever unless they change their approach to grieving customers.
