Do not purchase this insurance

Do not purchase this insurance! I paid for 6-7 months and never got 1 claim paid for. They are a rip off. My personal insurance company whom i insure my cars through has quit selling Embrace Pet Insurance after my experience. I would give them 0 stars if it were possible.

I am currently attempting to submit claims for an ear infection for my pet. I am very poor with the Internet and computer systems. The staff is very kind it’s automated so many times it takes both sides longer to implement what they requesting. Recently I sent a five page, fax of all the medical records that I do have. I think the problem is my doctor did not reply to them in a timely manner or at all. I adopted my pet at the end of 23 and sought insurance at the end of 23 knowing that I would not be eligible for any claims. This year, however I have had a month-long encounter with my veterinarian regarding an ear infection that I believe has been cured. The confusion might be that the insurance company thinks I am claiming allergy medicine however I know that she is not eligible as that was a pre-existing condition. Looking for staff comments everyone has been wonderful. The system just doesn’t always work for older people who don’t have the skills to pull that together.Maddie Baldo/ FP130000239921 I hope this is helpful.

When I take my dog,"Lily Rose" to the vet I file Lily's visit within a day or two. You promptly take care of it. You apply it to my deductible. I love the promptness of your company. I have had to call a couple of times and your staff has always been polite, courteous and caring. I am very happy with the service I have experienced. Your company is is tops with me.

Disappointed no more

Purchased policy early March after much thought and consideration of several competitors. I discovered today from AARP information that I received in the mail that Fetch offers AARP discount which was not told to me when I signed up. I have been a member of AARP for years. I called today and was told by Fetch that I couldn't use the discount until renewal next March since it had been greater than 30 days since I signed up. Pretty disappointing and sad I'd say to deny a senior the benefit of this discount moving forward (I pay quarterly) Updated review...Tina just called me and all is well. She was nice enough to approve AARP for Dude. She couldn't have been nicer.

The BEST Pet Insurance in My Opinion

I have to take a minute and express my appreciation for Healthy Paws insurance. We got our very first pup, Milo, in November 2016 and even though I was skeptical I was encouraged to get pet insurance. I did a bit of research and decided on Healthy Paws and joined in January 2017. Our pets are an investment and that includes insurance premiums. As I mentioned I was skeptical at first, but it was the best decision ever. Unbeknownst to us Milo started having an eye issue when is was 1.5 years old. We battled an eye infection and treatment for almost two years and finally had to have an MRI, which is a pretty expensive procedure, but needed to know what we were dealing with. Even though the MRI didn’t identify anything specific as it related to his eye, which we had to have removed, it gave us peace of mind. With the policy we had Healthy Paws covered 70% of the cost, minus the deductible, which was pretty significant. Then in February of this year Milo (7.5 years old) started having seizures out of nowhere and again we needed an MRI to determine the cause and figure out future treatment. Unfortunately, it was determined Milo has a large slow growing glioma brain tumor, which he has probably had for a few years. Of course this was very unfortunate news for us to deal with and the cost of the MRI on top of that just compounded all the emotions we were dealing with. Again, I submitted a claim and Healthy Paws started the process immediately and within days the claim was completed and a check was issued for 70% of the cost minus the deductible. Healthy Paws has come through for us every time we have needed them. They are a responsive, communicative and CARING team. I can say without a doubt that Heathy Paws is one of the best investments I’ve made in regard to the care of Milo. If your are on the fence about insurance for your pup, don’t hesitate, you will not regret choosing Healthy Paws.
