So Far So Good!
You never want to end up using pet insurance - and for the first 6 years of my dog's life nothing bad happened. That all came to a halt about a month ago when he suddenly yelped and stopped walking. I rushed him to the ER to find that he had IVDD, a spinal degradation disease that then required an MRI and further specialty care. This has already cost over 6000 dollars in the first month. Pet's Best has an easy claims process, and all my claims have been reviewed and paid within 2 weeks. It's really been a blessing during this time to not have to worry about fighting for insurance claims and to be able to choose what's best medically for my dog. I am so grateful to have started this insurance early in his life.

waste of money, barely covers anything
Just like other insurance companies... ASPCA barely covers anything. Preventative care is a waste of money as well. They give you pennies for vaccines and don't even cover the total cost of exams. The monthly premium isn't worth it. Better to just save that money and put it towards the future vet bills. I have claims that were denied because of preexisting conditions. I have NEVER taken my pet in for what they describe as a preexisting condition. To make matters even more frustrating YOU have to contact a separate entity and file a complaint. Seriously, just avoid ASPCA insurance and save up some money every month instead of paying for a plan that will barely cover anything and if it does you'll get pennies.

Spot Insurance is worth every penny
Spot Insurance is worth every penny. I’ve had to take my pup in for emergency help and standard vet visits. Both times I received more than half of my money back! My pup is taken care of and my bank account doesn’t suffer.

Thanks to Embrace for Helping as We Lost Stash
Thanks to Embrace, the loss of our beautiful 13.5 year old Australian Shepherd Stash was easier. First, we were shocked to find Stash had cancer in his lungs and brain after we took him to the ER after a stroke. He had just recovered from ACL surgery. We asked why didn't the orthopedic vet identify the cancer through that process? When we took Stash to the Emergency Room, we thought it was the end. However, the ER vets prescribed drugs to help Stash last a bit longer--comfortably-- so we could say goodbye. We got two weeks and then we knew Stash's time had come. We were able to get another vet service to come to our house where Stash had his last moments in his favorite place in our yard--with us. We could have done all this without Embrace, but the insurance took the large sting out of an already difficult experience. We are grateful for Embrace insurance. They responded quickly and supportively.
