Fraud Ring within American Modern Home Insurance Company
Everything is a pre-existing condition even when explicitly stated by my vet that it isn't. Essentially a fraud company displaying itself as pet insurance. Shame on the underwriting company: American Modern Home Insurance Company

I have been with Embrace for over 18…
I have been with Embrace for over 18 years now. I use to ALWAYS give rave reviews about them. I've had good and bad claims yet I've understood how everything worked. For the most part, I have been generally happy.... Until NOW. I called to make a minor change in my policy and I was told that I had to CANCEL my existing policy and start over... My policy price increased 50% per month ($63 to $98) and the folks that you speak too are simply.....ambivalent to you... Ughhhh The ridiculous talking points.. "inflation" - - PLEASE... "its your zip code" .. Oh lots of claims where you live...... Whatever lie they are working off of at this time, as if we are completely ignorate on the other end. The company I use to love, now completely sucks. You don't give a crap about anything accept collecting and it shows.

Turned Around Time
The turn around time from when I submitted my claims was excellent. I do think that I should have been reimbursed for the X-ray.

Sonnet is amazing.
Amber was very friendly. As for Sonnet, so far the least expensive option I've found so far. It makes me wonder how the different can be so wide

Very efficient
Very efficient. I do have one negative note and that would be that since I rescued and abused dog from Mexico with no medical history, the basic vaccines were mandated before she could be admitted to the hospital for a procedure that she needed for her ears. Those vaccines were not elective and I felt that they should’ve been covered under the procedure that I had to pay for.

The Worst insurance company
don’t bother with them. I have had this insurance for 7 years and previously had no issues, but then I got a new puppy in May of 2024. Made sure to get the insurance before I got the puppy and paid extra for the wellness plan they provide to cover her spay, shots, etc. Took my puppy for her shots and puppy check supposedly during the “14 day waiting period” of when the Illness insurance would of started, which I didn’t think would matter, since it was for shots on the already active wellness plan, but now that my sweet puppy needed surgery due to swollen inverted tonsils causing her to randomly choke and have heavy breathing, and the specialist vet stating to do the BOAS surgery at the same time, ASPCA said they wouldn’t cover any of the $5k for the surgery due to it being noted that she is a French bulldog at the first wellness puppy appointment and therefore the vet informing us that this entire breed may need surgery in the future for her breathing and to keep an eye on her as she grows. Seriously bull! I pay over $350 a month to this company and they used a wellness check where the vet is doing their due diligence to inform me of the breed itself against me and my puppy’s unexpected surgery. now I am stuck with this insurance company because anyone else would say anything before now is “pre existing“ and therefore I can’t leave. don’t use this insurance company!!
