Great pet Insurance
We have had Spot insurance for 2 years. This year was the first time having to use it when I dog got ill a couple weeks ago and into up at the Emergency vet. We filled our claim and got reimbursed seamlessly. It brings comfort having both our dogs covered.

The claims process is a little clunky
The claims process is a little clunky. I needed SOAP notes. Its note always easy to add docs. I had a claim declined several times before I could identify the blocker. I had to call the call center to get it resolved

My experience with MetLife Insurance…
My experience with MetLife Insurance was excellent. When I called to speak with a representative about what my policy covered, the process was simple and easy to understand. The representative was knowledgeable, patient, and answered all of my questions clearly. I was also very impressed with how quickly my refund was processed. Overall, the customer service was efficient, professional, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

Not a good experience so far
Not a good experience so far. My dog had an accident playing and I immediately scheduled a vet visit after paying for his coverage for over a year I submitted all the documents including SOAP notes. Now they want SOAP notes submitted for the year prior! Other than his vaccination update a year prior at a clinic-+ he does not have any prior vet visits! This is stressful I have called multiple times and each time a representative tells me ok don't worry we have everything we need! I even had a cytology and blood work to make sure his ear trauma wasn't an infection or allergy. I was aware the day he did it and immediately scheduled his appointment for a drain etc.. When you sign up they are not going to cover your pup if there is no prior history is what I gather. I am definitely cancelling if they refuse his coverage.

Although your quote was under the quotes I received I still think for as long as I have been driving it should have been lower. It's nice to have an actual person being able to help you set up your account you need better customer service
