Removes services, increases pricing

My dog is now 11 years old. My insurance started at about $900/ year which I got when oliver was 3 months old. I've had 2 or 3 claims over the years which wasn't even fully covered even though I had 100percent then. They have since reduced my coverage to 90 percent, increased deductible, removed the death benefit I had and drastically increased prices. The last price increase I was told about was up to $2400/year. And this year I just noticed the increase again to $3925/year. I wish I would have noticed it 6 months ago as the last 2 payments went unnoticed as I wasn't looking at my credit card statement close enough. $4000 per year is rediculous. I guess that's how they get you to cancel when your dog is older.

Insurance is usually an afterthought…

Insurance is usually an afterthought and opens the door for a painful process with things you don't perfectly understand. Embrace keeps is simple and gives you many options that show how it impacts your costs and coverages. We've had Embrace for over 4 years and have had to file claims here and there, they've condensed it to a simple process and over communicate. Will definitely keep using them for the foreseeable future.

Policy is not as transparent as I hoped…

Policy is not as transparent as I hoped it would be, because after being a policy holder for over a year I ask about upgrading my Wellinses potion and the agent could not give me a straight answer, because when I asked about the upgrade he said it would cost me an extra $200 before my current policy was due for renewing in 2 months, but if I wait two months it would be about $50. That seem to be Horribly HIGH for just two months and especially if my dog had no more Vet visit. So I been thinking about shopping around, but I might still stay and just wait the 2 months Loyalty so current policy holders don't mean anything!!

To have a company do what you did and in a timely manner is unusual to say the least, especially for an animal.

first claim and end result fantastic

first claim and end result fantastic. Customer service outstanding, as I was able to talk to a real person promptly who was courteous and knowledgable. I thought claim was a little slow, but turns out it was due to problem getting Archie's medical records from both our vet and the vet he saw before we adopted him. I am totally satisfied and very happy we have Embrace

Buyers Beware - save your money and self insure instead

Terrible experience - they doubled our monthly premium after one year and automatically denied every claim based on a pre-existing condition even when there is clearly no connection between the two (even after our vet wrote an appeal letter). Their claims adjusters have little medical knowledge and it became clear after a while that their MO is to deny every claim regardless so you have to spend all your time and energy to appeal. You're better off self insuring than give your money to this company.

Dog needed emergency surgery with total costs approximately $6000.00. Luckily I had $15,000 of coverage and a credit card. My dog is alive and well and embrace lived up to its promises in a timely manner. Hadn't had a claim for quite a few years and was actually thinking of cancelling. Lucky I didn't
