Pets Best Insurance Experience Was Awesome
"We got our Pets Best insurance via a link from Progressive Insurance after seeing this as an option from our local Humane Society in Louisville, KY. The experience from start to finish, and then to filing our first claim for the very first vet visit was, quite simply, flawless. Very well done and I would highly recommend Pets Best to every pet owner."

Healthy Paws Pet Insurance: Trusted, Reliable, and Life-Saving Coverage for Your Furry Family Members
I wholeheartedly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for anyone seeking exceptional coverage and peace of mind for their beloved pets. My wife and I experienced their outstanding service firsthand when our eight-year-old English Springer Spaniel faced a life-threatening medical emergency. He was rushed to the animal hospital and diagnosed with diabetic ketoacidosis. Thanks to the swift action of the veterinary team, his life was saved, but the care required to nurse him back to health came with significant costs. Thankfully, Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was there for us every step of the way. They covered a substantial portion of the expenses, alleviating the financial stress during an already difficult time. The claims process was incredibly easy—completely online, intuitive, and efficient. The reimbursement was processed quickly and deposited directly into our account without any hassle. As a lifelong advocate for pet health insurance, I can confidently say Healthy Paws goes above and beyond to support pet families. Their service is reliable, their coverage is comprehensive, and their commitment to customer care is evident in every interaction. For anyone considering pet insurance, I highly recommend Healthy Paws as a trustworthy partner in ensuring the health and happiness of your furry family members.
Dishonest and Misleading—Avoid Trupanion
We recently got a puppy, and the first owners had a one-month insurance policy with Trupanion, which we were encouraged to renew. During a routine vet visit for vaccinations, our vet noticed that our 14-week-old puppy had lower canines growing into the upper inner gums—a teething issue that had just started. When we called Trupanion, we spoke with Amanda from Sales, who assured us that this issue would be covered under the policy if we renewed. Trusting her word, we renewed the policy. However, after our vet submitted a pre-approval for the extraction procedure, Trupanion denied the claim, stating it was a pre-existing condition. This was never raised as an issue during renewal. When we called back to contest the decision, they continued to make excuses, eventually claiming the issue was reported within 30 days of renewal and therefore ineligible. Why are we paying such high premiums for a company that denies valid claims using vague and shifting excuses? They misled us into renewing the policy with assurances of coverage, only to leave us with no support when we needed it most. This is especially infuriating as it concerns a young, 14-week-old puppy just starting to teethe—something no one could predict. It feels like Trupanion is exploiting pet owners, offering false assurances while denying legitimate claims under the guise of "pre-existing conditions." New pet owners are already anxious and adjusting, and this kind of dishonesty only adds to the stress. Trupanion has shown zero care or compassion and seems more focused on collecting premiums than supporting pets or their owners. Avoid Trupanion. They are nothing more than scammers preying on vulnerable pet owners. Date of experience: January 21, 2025

Fetch are the most deceitful and…
Fetch are the most deceitful and scammiest pet insurance provider that is out there. Avoid them. They gave me a day where I would be able to submit claims and they changed the date by one day to avoid paying for my claim. They advertised one thing and then changed it by one day after the 15 day waiting period. They are liars. I have provided feedback but they really could care less. They will probably respond here and say oh please let us know what has happened. I will email them and get in contact and they will not give a darn. Stay away from Fetch they are an absolute scam.

It's been 4 months
It's been 4 months, and there has been no payment of the claims submitted. All paperwork from the vet's office was submitted 3 separate times. They denied the claim, without notifying me, and stated when I reached out 3 times that they needed further documents PRIOR to the claim. I explained, repeatedly, that there are NO other records since she was a rescue from a family getting rid of the kitten. She has no other paperwork, and she was flown in from another state to save her. They said they'd note that and that would be fine. No, they denied it again and claimed they needed a year's worth of documents prior to the submitted claim. Again, I explained - there are NO other documents as she had never been seen previously. Still...nothing. They are clearly just reading from a script, as I hear the exact same wording again and again when I deal with the incompetent call center who has no power to effect change at all. This company is fraudulent. Do not be fooled by the cute website and such. They are not in the healthcare business at all, and it's a real shame that the ASPCA would tarnish its name with these BUSINESS dealings. Stick to rescuing animals, and stay out of the business side of dealing with animals, because this service is not about helping animals at all.
