I give my highest recommendation to Embrace Pet Insurance. They have always been very prompt in reimbursing my submitted claims and I felt so reassured with their responsiveness and support when my 5-year-old lab was suddenly diagnosed with a cardiac mass. This period was especially difficult financially with all the costs of his diagnostic tests and treatment exams and Embrace reimbursed each of his procedure claims quickly and with the warm response of wishing our pet well. When he passed away and I submitted the euthanasia claim, not only did they again, reimburse quickly but they also sent me a personalized card in the mail that was quite touching and appreciated. I have absolutely the highest regard for Embrace Pet Insurance! My family and I have appreciated all the extra "human touches" that make them more than an already great pet insurance for their quick and consistent claims reimbursement. Thank you, Embrace!

Hard to reach them,,,,if you get somone online then one's will pass you over to another extension wait another 30min. I ask them to send me the pink slips... THEY WON'T. I need to print it out myself.I have to do their job although I don't work for the insurance company. ( I got no printer and I am 15km away from library). They like to take your money but service? NOOOO ( I got a reply from them ( below) as you can see they are not focusing the help me trying to drag me through again to wait 1 hr to speak to them + and GUESS what they will say.. " YOU NEED TO PRINT IT OUT THE PINK SLIP YOURSELF". (I already went through that).. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO DEAL WITH THEM...

Setting put policies with a live person was best for me.
I tried getting policies on line the website wouldn’t accept my birth date prior to 1950. I phoned Nationwide custom service and talked to Ken. He did an excellent job setting up policies for my two Shelties. Ken was very informative, which reassured me that I’d made the right choice

You make everything easy
You make the claims process easy! And the claims are often processed on the same day they are submitted! The claims process was cumbersome with our previous pet insurance. My recent customer service call with Cassie was a breeze. All of my calls have been extremely positive. Your reps are kind, listen, and try and say "yes."

Horrible company
I cannot express how bad this company is. I switched to Embrace after Nationwide raised their rates so high that we could no longer afford them. I knew that the two pre-existing conditions our dog had (lixating patella and collapsing trachea) would not be covered, but I discussed them with my vet and he agreed that both were mild cases, not getting any worse and we would not go after treatment for either. About six months after signing with Embrace, our dog came down with Pneumonia. Embrace denied all claims. Their excuse was that because our dog had come in with a cough due to the collapsing trachea in July of the previous year, Pneumonia would be considered a pre-existing condition. My vet rejected their excuse and wrote back that the pneumonia had nothing to do with the previous cough. They refused to pay. The pneumonia got worse, and to a point where our dog needed to be hospitalized (the very sort of thing I bought insurance for). We were several thousand in to treatment, and an emergency vet needed to place her in their hospital. I couldn’t afford the $5000/night cost. We tried our best, but we lost our baby, and it’s Embrace pet Insurances fault. If I were rich, I’d sue them simply out of principle. They were very much in the wrong, but there’s no way to fight them without money, and they know it. Stay away from this company. They are thieves.
